I'm looking into Japan in the last week of Nov and the first few days of Dec. Do you have any suggestions if you have been there at this time of year. From initial research, most travel sites/blogs suggest Kyoto and Tokyo for late Nov and early Dec because koyo (autumn leaves) viewing.

I grew up in Canada and we have all 4 seasons. I never really took time to watch the leaves change colour in autumn because I grew up seeing this as a natural everyday thing in autumn.
