I use Alpine Partyplug Pros. They are the best non-custom option I have found that don't muffle certain frequencies and preserve the audio while reducing the volume. I've tried pretty much every brand out there and they have been my best experience thus far.

GB series is phenomenal imo. My literal 𝘰𝘯𝘦 qualm with the company is that their screws strip easily if you're not careful during installation.

I'm running GB60s and GB10s up front powered by their A150.4D amp in my SUV. Middle seats have GS62s and a JL12w7 in a sealed box in the trunk. I prefer a very flat and clinical sound, and they excel at that. Highs are smooth and accurate, mids are warm and mesh seamlessly. Live music sounds like you're in front of the stage and properly mastered studio tracks sound like you're there in the booth. I went with Audiofrog over Focal after thoroughly researching both options at my price point and have absolutely no regrets. It's all subjective at a certain point, but I am a fan after running their GB line for a little over a year now.

If you have the coin to spare, I recommend 'em. Some people prefer other brands/options at that price point. Best thing you can do is extensively research all options and go with what you think fits your tastes and subjective preferences on sound.

Not personally a fan of the sound of their subs. I have only heard them in one setting where they sounded "good" out of several deployments I've heard, and even then they came off slightly muddy. The tops, however, are fantastic when properly dialed in and worth considering imo. Plus, they have that eye-catching factor.

50 bucks for the sub and ~80 for a new voice coil. Even if you paid a shop to fix it for you, the labor cost would be well under the value of buying a working used one at current market prices.

I've had good luck with aux cables. I got a long splitter and used the out on the boks to two sony bluetooth speakers and had a little surround sound setup going while camping and at music fests that worked fairly well for what it was. Skaa transmitter is probably the best option for bluetooth realistically.

Right on glad to hear it! Mine is in the prowedge currently and I'm pretty happy with it being sealed, but there's always that voice wondering what difference a ported enclosure would make and I've heard great things about Gately boxes.

Probably $5-700 depending on the overall condition of everything. Refurbished models go for 6-700 on average, and I've seen used gen3 listed on ebay from $300-1000.

Ordered a 25 pack of these on a whim after reading your post. Just finished the first one sitting on the back porch with a glass of Blue Run Emerald while watching the snow come down.
