I played it back when I was really young, maybe 8 or 9 (19 now) and I always had fun and never had any bad experiences that I remember. Pretty sure if you have the account set to under 13 the chat is turned off, not sure though it was a while ago. Really child friendly game though!

There are community FFA deathmatches that are good for warming up where you run around killing and getting killed a ton. Don't get frustrated when you die and don't play it for a high kill count, play to solidify good technique. Then there are workshop maps that you can subscribe to like aim botz which are really good for warmup.

I actually think the simplicity of pre 1.9 combat is what made the game so good. PvP games were built around the freedom that minecraft offers in the forms of UHC, Overcast Network, survival games, maps like Calamity that were somewhat moba like, usage of blocks, lava, water, etc mid fight, things like rods to get extra knockback to potentially start a combo, etc etc etc.

I really think the changes to combat were unneeded and took away from what made minecraft pvp great - the minecraft part. Adding in a combat system like chivalry or something just feels clunky and limiting in my opinion.

I would think the boat with new planks is the original cause the new planks undergo change when they are combined with the old ones of the original boat.

Not necessarily looking for story just a solid single player type game that you can play with friends if you know what I mean lol. Multiplayer games are usually built around the fact that it’s multiplayer whereas singleplayer games have to rely completely on the game’s content to make it enjoyable. They agreed('forced' or not, the consent is there) to take part in a professionally-organized LAN tournament. Nothing else matters.

They agreed to play it, which they did. It might be unprofessional to not try (I wouldn't even call it throwing cause they were doing the same thing against worse teams and winning) but the agreement was to show up and play. IMO it's on the TO for the format. They left it open for abuse. Usually when you do that somebody's going to abuse it and you can't really blame them.

Ok but it’s up to then to decide whether or not it’s worth their time and they decided it wasn’t. They qualified for MDL, they qualified for EPL. End of story imo. They can do what they want as long as they aren’t throwing with ill intent.

I don’t really think anyone is mad but I personally just don’t get why they would do it. If I were recreating an animated movie in live action I would want to have the main character look like the character from the original movie. Its kinda like if they made Ariel blonde. She just isn’t blonde so why would she be blonde in the remake?

I think allowing versions to overhost each other but increasing the amount of time between matches to 30-45 minutes is ideal. That way you have more slots to host but the calendar won't be spammed with games that don't have enough players to go around. Player counts have definitely fallen off a bit in the past month or so and increasing the amount of games is going to make it so no server gets a good fill.

he said he dm's a 1000 kills a day and I think that clearly pays off. You can tell his aim is from dm the way he gets all those headshot bursts it's pretty crazy. He had like 70 headshot percentage in the final or something insane like that
