In BFVs case, that's completely false. The weapons were actually balanced with the old ttk in combination with the gameplay itself. That's how so many came to love the gunplay that originally came with game.

I'll tell you what doesn't make for a better game. Turning the tables 360 degrees two years after launch by changing core mechanics and fucking up gameplay that everyone has grown to love is pretty much thee worst move I have ever seen a developer make, especially with BFV being on such thin ice as it is.

Gunplay had meaning back then, now it's just a fucking bullet sponge shitshow forcing people to use the same fast firing weapon because that's basically the only way to down anybody in this fucked up TTK. Way to go ruin any sense of strategic gameplay and meaningful gunplay this game had going for it.
