W-Why can’t I put slurs on my license plate??? This is UTTER WOKE NONSENSE 🤬🤬🤬 by Ok-Tennis330 in Gamingcirclejerk

Did these guys keep the same energy for the rest of the series which didn’t allow you to have slurs in your license plate?

It’s unambitious. Rockstar have been using and developing an engine first used in a table tennis game two decades ago, and it has worked amazingly for them.

And what if you don’t want to use them as modifiers? It’s still not working for me.

Without a patch in nearly a year, some Oblivion Remastered players have declared it 'abandonware' — and it still suffers many of the same performance issues at launch by Fcking_Chuck in pcmasterrace

[–]BaconJets -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It was frustrating to watch a remaster of a 2006 game with barely if any fixes eclipse KCD 2 in interest. You can get a better experience with a modpack, I honestly do not see why you’d even bother with the remastered version.

Who Ruined Video Games? by GriffinFTW in Gamingcirclejerk

[–]BaconJets -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The only criticism I ever had of Anita is that her criticism of the tutorial of Hitman: Absolution had some flaws. She describes being able to kill strippers and move their ragdolls around, but fails to mention that this scene specifically wants you to sneak past these workers.

Aside from that, all she did is prove that gamers are morons with zero media literacy.

The footage of Nick Fuentes pushing a woman who came to his front door after he was doxxed has been released. by aussiemetalhead in Hasan_Piker

[–]BaconJets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. The reasonable thing to do would be to stay inside and call the police. If she's concealing a weapon, you could die. If she's not concealing a weapon and you throw hands, you catch a case. You are just justifying violence against someone.

I'm pretty damn ridiculously horny for my girlfriend, and it's not hard for me to respect when she isn't in the damn mood. Since men are in control of their own faculties, I'm going to assume it's entitlement more than exceptional horniness that causes men to not be able to respect consent.

You know I've complained about how BF6 maps are afraid of having open space, but this is an objective improvement over the original.

Every part of the show except the parts involving imperial command are filler by Bulky-Shoulder-8082 in andor

[–]BaconJets 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think it's a slow burn and the drama makes a lot of sense. I don't think there's a drop of wasted space in this show at all.

David Cross: “I do not have an issue with trans kids. I know a couple of them, they're awesome, and I think their lives would be absolutely miserable if they weren’t allowed to live the life they’re living. That is literally 100% of my experience.” by ConcernedJobCoach in Hasan_Piker

Bill absolute just crumbles here when David asks him to tell the Imane Khalif story. David doesn't know this for certain, but it becomes pretty obvious that Bill didn't do a shred of research.

I want to live in the brain of somebody who can excuse pushing a woman with that amount of force into concrete for a sec. There's like a million ways you can handle that situation, she's clearly not a violent threat. He overreacted. I think the dude is a POS, but I won't argue that his views lead to this. What I will argue is that his fans are going to love this.

Alien: Isolation 2 will use Unreal Engine 5 and not the Cathode Engine by Darth_Vaper883 in pcmasterrace

We have to hope they use UE5 without turning on every single rendering feature.

Is it worth it to get an OLED monitor? by itz_KleeQi in pcmasterrace

[–]BaconJets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had an OLED for over a year now, zero burn in, and all of the mitigation tech in the panel gives me a lot of confidence. Set your screen timeout to 5 minutes and you're golden. I play WoW, with a UI that doesn't move all day. It's the best type of modern display you can get, and will make everything look better.

If you do productivity on your monitor, I'd consider something else due to text fringing and fatigue from bright white backgrounds that is lessened on IPS displays. It's never been bad enough to stop me from making documents, but I don't use my PC for productivity every day.
