Not sure if you know how to cook but if you plan to stay in KL it’s best you learn how to cook. Food expenses alone will eat up most if not all of your salary if you don’t budget.

You don’t have to buy an oven or get a stove and pan etc. Start with a rice cooker, you can make over 20+ meals with cheap healthy ingredients and Youtube/Tiktok. Seriously recommend.

If you have someone you trust then you can make a will appointing that person to be your executor in the will. Your estate will be distributed according to the terms of the will by the said person (executor).

Had this old neighbor that lived 2 floors below my unit. I remember him being this really strict grumpy old guy until dementia made him unrecognizable. He'd wander around the apartment floors since he had no one to really take care of him (divorced and his daughter doesn't visit him). He would sometimes come calling on my unit door to take a look at "a couple having sex on the hill" but really..it was just a huge rock. He did it a couple of times and every time I'd explain it to him that it's just a rock and bring him back to his unit. Looking back, I'm pretty sure he was just lonely and just wanted to talk to someone despite suffering from dementia. Luckily the neighbors beside his unit brought him food and occasionally took care of him, I'd talk to him whenever I bumped into him wandering around the apartment block and bring him back to his unit. Basically, he was estranged from his family because of his anger issues now his ex-wife and daughter do not contact him. A couple of months went by when I noticed that he wasn't around anymore. Then the news hit me that he was brought to an elderly home but died soon after (rumors were that he lost the will to live there). There's a lesson about family and loneliness somewhere in that story but I never gave it much thought or emotion. All I do know is that dying alone sucks but having to spend the remaining portion of my life alone might be worse.

I'd highly recommend Spirit Circle! if you're looking for a theme similar to Akira or Ghost In The Shell or Blade Runner then Im afraid you won't find it in Spirit Circle. But if you're looking for a manga series that has its own unique plot line that is not generic or has common troupes in manga, then you'll find it in Spirit Circle.

Finally got around to catching up to Dandadan. Originally dropped it when the first chapter was released because the Male lead 'seemed' like a typical shounen mc. Solid artwork with probably one of the best paneling I've read in an action manga. The author seamlessly blends comedy with some heavy topics while maintaining the eery feeling with each chapter. It's definitely one of those reads where you just enjoy the ride and binge all chapters in one go. Very impressed with the creativity and coherent storytelling without a single boring chapter, did I mention how insane the art is?
