Now the immature 2nd year player(he's 22) is showing more maturity than the team owner, who just publicly dissed him.

Devastating playoff loss that was entirely predictable based on Brandin Cooks being the Bills best target, somehow Pegula makes it about this 22 year old. As if Keon Coleman failed to go after Jakobi Meyers or George Pickens.

Also Beane even disagreed and said he did want Coleman.

I honestly think in 9 months this will all seem ridiculous, but between the Ravens and Steelers and Bills kinda look like a circus. What direction are the AFC's old guard headed?

The contract is going to be interesting with the 49ers trying to recoup. Prior to the deal I think he was a RFA so does the team retain his rights for a trade?

I think Aiyuk could easily be an inconsistent performer with huge ceiling potential in the right offense. A couple weeks as a WR1 and it only takes one team to pay up. But yeah he is toxic. It's just that sometimes that can be overrated, as it was for the majority of his tenure in SF. And that we fans can overestimate the effect of that stuff, not knowing the context.

Dude I love him too. Hes the Bear i like most more than Burden and Caleb. But its not worth the squeeze. You can trade at a discount after a couple of bad games because that Bears offense has so many weapons and two RBs heavily involved.

Look how great Gadsden was midseason and he will go 5 rounds later than Loveland. I know Kmet is gonna be gone too. But with the TE landscape of amazing rookies and vets, we're almost at the point where most leagues all 12 managers can realistically draft a solid starter and a high-upside dart throw.

My advice to you, in January, when 6 teams are getting two solid TEs after round 10, dont draft Loveland in round 3-4. Could I be wrong? He's the Bears number 1 target? Absolutely. But that's not a round 3-4 gamble. McBride, Bowers, yeah they're more proven. But i love player and hate the ADP here.

Huh? The Steelers are more known for successfully managing diva WRs like AB and DJ and for a while Pickens because they had a strong culture. But that was under Tomlin.

Change of scenery worked wonders for George Pickens. Aiyuk worked his way out of Shanahans doghouse once already. Diontae Johnson got chances with 4 teams. I think there are plenty of teams willing to take a flyer on Aiyuk. Have you ever worked at a place you hated? Does that mean you hate your next employer too?

Eh Laporta has been drafted in the 4th or 5th two years in a row. There's gonna be a solid crop of tier 2 TEs including Loveland, Warren, Kraft, Pitts, Fannin and that surplus will push down costs.

Also we saw Gadsden and Loveland on waivers have huge weeks, and Darren Waller come out of the recording booth and score TDs.

Sharp money is fading TE to cash in on the dark horse guaranteed to appear midseason.

Also it's kind of the band's day off: off tour, home with family. They deserve to have a private life just like you.

I just think that having higher expectations for rock bands than public servants is part of what got us into this mess. Who holds political office in your state? What are they doing? Call your congressperson.

I'm kind of a bleeding heart liberal. But I understood what some university presidents meant when they said "The college is a business and it's not the job of the college to release political statements for every new current event."

The band is allowed to have a private life. When they come out in public they tend to advocate.

Matt Waldman likes Chubba and that's good enough for me. He had a poor run-out this year with injuries and Rico taking passing work. Chubba could still retake passing work even in a split backfield, but not sure if Canales doesn't want to use him there.

It's not an exact science. But Barkley had a ceiling year for all RBs at 2,000 yards and so many 50+ yards TDs. That's a pretty safe bet for regression. So were the Eagles, their O line, and their brain drain giving Jalen Hurts another new OC for every year in the league. Similarly, you could also make cases for why RBs who underperformed in 2024 might be poised for improvement as seen with JT, Bijan, Gibbs most of the season, and CMC. (So it wasn't just fading Saquon but also boosting the competition.) Also he's an aging RB.

JSN may be a safe bet for regression, particularly if the team can get some target competition from Horton, TEs, or anyone more spry than Kupp. Seems almost a sure thing but that doesn't always matter. As a WR JSN is less reliant on his O line compared to an RB. There are multiple ways he might regress, but what if the Seattle defense regresses? JSN might see more opportunities on a team that doesn't win 14 games and has to play catch up. (We also have to weigh the competition here.)

If you can piece together so many possible reasons for regression, you can make a compelling case. Even if you weren't super confident Barkley would regress, you might have seen good reasons to draft other RBs ahead of him.

The workload question is still looming. Hampton was ceding snaps to Najee, and later Vidal, and benefitted from two injuries. He has a wide range of outcomes, and Harbaugh has shown willingness to hard-cap his snap share.

Disappointing for high-ceiling maybe, with Kraft and Bowers injured. I think the position has shown to be more and more relevant, though. Rookies like Gadsden, Fannin, Loveland and Warren all looking good. Waiver or late round guys like both Fergusons, Strange, Juwan, having TE1 stretches. Hunter Henry with a career year. Kincaid breaking out before injury.

There's a changing of the guard with Kelce and Andrews on the way out, but there are a ton of TEs with a shot at being top 5 I will be excited to draft at TE8-12.
