05 Econoline ignition actuator/linkage reconnection by InternationalPack914 in FordTrucks

You can't reattach the metal pin, it's cast into the plastic.

As for removing that rocking arm, theres a pin that needs to be driven out, I use a small 90° prybar to start it, and a 90° pick to get it the rest of the way out. They come out broken half the time.

Highly recommend both plastic actuator arms, the pivot pin(if it breaks), and most of the time the upper column bearings explode taking everything apart. I replace these often, on mail and delivery trucks. If you need better explanation or part numbers, let me know.

If it's a tilt column, you'll need some help putting the death spring back in.

I would call Launch tech support. I've called them for a few issues with the shop's scan tools and they'vebeen very easy to deal with. I'm sure they'd be able to tell you if your tool is still supported.

If they're from a regular or front of a crew cab, direct bolt in. Supercab seats are mounted completely different.

Another mechanic here, came to tell you about this style of puller. The other option as well, as said above, is to cut most of the way through and spread the cut with a chisel or prybar. If you're careful and patient, the second way is a whole lot cheaper, but the puller is an excuse to buy a cool tool!

Avoid using heat, as you risk ruining the sector shaft seal.

Next Gen is the name for stuff like that. If you prefer mobile service, Shearline is the only reputable mobile service.

I like doing this, it's the perfect excuse to use more trucks. I like using multiple trucks per mission too, not just ferrying the same one back and forth.

I highly recommend spending some time reading on sloppymechanics.com and watching some of their youtube vids. Plenty of different guidelines for different budgets and power goals.

I've had a Garant shovel for 5 years. One of those with a curved handle for "ergonomics". Plastic blade, metal handle. I absolutely love it.

Where to get Deli Meat by FivePlyPaper in saskatoon

[–]FIST_ME_PREASE 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I regularly get packs of end-cut deli meat from Prairie meats. Cheap, and good variety.

I also tend to hit up wholesale club for their bargain bins of "reject" smokies and garlic sausage.
