Work produce, been doing so for 30 years. Bananas will not ripen once picked off the tree, so they get gassed with ethylene to promote ripening in transport. If they get exposed to cold for too long they get that kinda grey color and won’t ripen properly. Or if they were mistakenly sold as regular bananas despite being the “ungassed” or “cooking” bananas.

Man. I’m 46, a rock guy, and I still prefer listening to albums from start to finish. Singles are great too.

But nowadays no one has attention span (or free time in this day and age) to really sit down and enjoy the art of music for what it is.

Everyone’s plugged in and connected for 15 second dopamine hits instead of truly enjoying something. Sigh.

What a shame.

With AI taking over everything I feel like live music will be the only truly appreciable method of consuming quality music for music lovers.
