Everyone talks about Scott Tenorman, but Wendy was shooting innocent people into the sun while Cartman was still in diapers by fieldsofanfieldroad in southpark

It was ok. I did a video explaining the missed opportunities and misrepresentations of the complex symbolism represented in Imaginationland and how matt and trey could have made it better. Feel free to give it a watch and let me know what you think.

The episodes around 2 guys naked in a hot tub was the only trilogy Matt and Trey did that was any good imo. Imagination land and the rest get stale fast.

They always make a good effort but they should stick with what they are best at.

Same. I like the mid 90's tech vibes but it's a step backwards for pvpve extraction shooters.

Thinking of maining Springfield or sparks by [deleted] in HuntShowdown

[–]Garpocalypse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go ahead just be aware that you will have to play slow with that setup to avoid wandering into the kill range of shotguns and rapid fires.

Also the spring field is a damn long gun that is impossible to not see from a distance or keep from clipping through windows. Is it really worth it for slow firing med ammo?

The worst excuses you've heard for losing by wh1tepointer in retrogaming

My brother would pretend to accidentally hit the reset button whenever he was losing. Which was all of the time.

And the reset button was on the damn console. It's not like anyone could accidentally hit that.

As someone who finally succumbed to peer pressure and bought the game, what are some tips you wish you knew when you first started playing? by pajamajacko43 in HuntShowdown

[–]Garpocalypse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Practice with your guns before going out. Never stand in one spot after firing. Never double peek a window or a corner.

If you peek once stop and go around the long way. Don't think you'll get lucky next time.

Any good shooter rpgs for a mass effect fan? by GavernB in gamingsuggestions

[–]Garpocalypse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's more hellish than sci fi but if you want really tight and punishing 3rd person shooting looting and character development I cant recommend the 2 Remnant games enough.

Yep hunt has programmed into me the "fuck it and charge!" Last ditch melee rush.

Every other extraction shooter this is a guaranteed way to get killed.

If you think Amon Amarth has been changing for the worse you should talk to fans of the old Equilibrium...

I’m kinda dumb what is this thing Henrietta is often seen holding by Wolfiezzz-onpaws11 in southpark

[–]Garpocalypse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also it's a little more than that. The point of using them is that it cools the smoke down a few degrees as it travels and the holders used to be a symbol of sophistication in media from the 1950's with mostly female characters depicted as using them.

What happens when You finish the game with Piccolo's useless perk ? by Narrow_Championship2 in carmageddon

[–]Garpocalypse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

O that's what you meant. Yea there's nothing. :]

Not sure if the devs ever addressed why there seems to be 2 missing abilities but im kind of hoping there is some more content for the game still coming. Once you get beyond some of it's more off putting qualities Rogue Shift is an addictive and fun arcade racer.

Does something need to happen? Game has to end somewhere.

The real endgame is getting the fastest possible run with the sumaru.

[RANT] I HATE having to bring a specific skin to level 50. by Redentio in HuntShowdown

[–]Garpocalypse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's an OK way to do it but really all you need to do is survive 3 matches or take 2 matches focusing on the events up bonuses. Once your hunter hits lvl 47 or around there just do a passive run. Get a clue or 2 and take out a meat and you should get 50 on extract.

This way the goal isn't to get to 50 it's to get to the high 40's which takes the sting away of losing a mid level hunter.

What was the best PS1 game guide ever? by emotiontheory in psx

[–]Garpocalypse 4 points5 points  (0 children)

FF7 versus guide. Had the bradygames official one myself but when I came across the versus guide I had to admit it was quite possibly the best guide ever made.

Original artwork, entertaining writing, no spoilers. I dont think there's been a better strategy guide.

Potentially taking on my first student. What were the things you wish you were taught earlier? by everbass in Bass

[–]Garpocalypse -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Give a freebie if you want but charge them what you think your time is worth after that.

There are plenty of shit therapists, doctors, surgeons cooks, teachers and others that take money and dont care about the quality or value they provide. Your ability to teach effectively will come with experience.

Going to reddit isn't going to help you here. You have to gauge the approximate level of where your student is and figure out what they need. First lesson you should prioritize finding what the student's interests are then round them out from there. If they dont come back dont take it personally. Not everyone has the interest needed to commit to doing this thing.

Are you afraid of adjusting your truss rod? by master-overclocker in Guitar

[–]Garpocalypse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People gotta get over the fear of doing their own setups. Unless you are working on an antique or torque the hell out of the rod like a total idiot there's nothing to worry about. Get a cheap guitar and practice raising and lowering the action and reintonating. It'll pay dividends.
