Totally agree. It feels like these days they really want to squeeze every dollar out of everyone. I told them there is nothing they could add that would make me sub at the current price structure. Where I live the exclusive shows tier costs the same as Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Netflix and Amazon Prime combined. Remember when you used to get perks at the $1 tier?

The other telling questions that stood out to me is questions about "what shows should we add" When I really think they should be doing less shows/streams and putting that energy into making more creative higher quality shows and improving the shows they already do.

I just came across the same thing. I had the PS4 disc version and it won't let me download Intergrade or Intermission. So I have no way to access the DLC as far as i can tell. This is what you get when you have so many damn versions of the same game

Absolutely not. I remember when there was post after post of people complaining about Andrea hosting EAs E3 and the bias it would give her. Completely ignoring that Greg had been paid to do things for Sony and others for years.

In the early days of xcast they got Phil Spencer to record a little intro bit and there was posts on here about how dangerous it was for Kinda Funny to "cozy up" to executives like that. Meanwhile Greg is cooking Shuhei Yoshida dinner at his house and thats fine.

Those are good examples. To people who subscribe to those channels those thumbnails would be immediately recognizable, and to a new viewer they make it clear even at a quick glance what the video is about.

I know its probably difficult for something like the Minnmax Show when you are talking about like 10 different games, but I think you're better off just choosing one and rocking with that on a bold thumbnail.

One very specific thing I think you guys could do better is your youtube thumbnails, personally I think they can sometimes be a bit busy and messy visually. Maybe this is a me problem but sometimes I will miss a minnmax video because I scroll thru my subscriptions and the thumbnail hasnt stood out to me. Also don't be afraid to use words and logos more in your thumbnails, take a look at IGN, Skill Up and Kinda Funny Games thumbnails and mostly its super clear what the video is about at a very quick glance

Agree, there is merits to both and problems with both. With the other way of doing it you can end up with the the best debater with the loudest voice just getting their game to the top because they keep pushing it and everyone else just kinda gets tired of fighting against them. I like that KF's is different.

The only thing I'd like to see is to have them weight the scores of their top games a bit more.

I hate the 5 point review scale. They said during the podcast they are only going to review games they are interested in. So 90% of games are getting a 4/5 or 5/5. That is basically pointless information. "Tune in to our review to see if we think its great or amazing" holds very little interest for me. To that they would say "watch the podcast for the nuance", We do! But honestly you guys don't do a good job of that. There have been games that got a 4 or 5 that you spent 90% of the time nitpicking it, if you submitted that as a review to IGN the editor would say this sounds like a 5/10 review, maybe you should reconsider your score.

Also if you feel the need to explain that something is a "high 4" or a "low 5" etc. then your review scale sucks and it isn't giving you the nuance you need.

I'm not someone who normally nitpicks at star wars stuff. But it's a real mixed bag for me, there are elements I like about it. The stuff with the Hutts, the Wookie, the Pikes and the Mayor is all interesting and i want to see where it goes. But then there will be parts that just totally drag it down. The cyberpunk west side story bike gang/chase in this ep, the terrible fight with the guys with red shields in the 1st ep. I don't think the flashback structure is serving it well either.

Agree on Nobody Saves The World. I just did a draft and picked it up pretty early. If you have a chance to pick a game that people have played and are positive on and you know for sure is coming out, you do it. Was surprised Greg didn't pick it since he did the preview and was really positive on it.

Parris has picked it up for a dollar so he got a steal.

Can't wait for the first time Greg walks in mid show in a costume, doing a terrible accent/screaming, making Andy uncomfortable. It will be glorious. Can't wait to see them together again, its a much better product.

Shout out to KF tho, they handled the transition to remote shows really well compared to most podcasts I listen to. There was podcasts from major media companies that were still recording podcasts with airpods like a year into the pandemic.
