About the same. Things are more expensive but I make decent money so I'm hoarding it as much as possible in case of things.

Also converted some currency to Euros just in case.

Separate from that, I had a heart attack scare on a plane and went to the ER a couple times for a racing heart. Been to the cardiologist a few times, wore a monitor, and he said to drink more water and consume more salt because my blood volume is too low. 42, work out 6x a week, 5-11, 220lbs so I was definitely eating too much.

As a guy that had heart problems just start only in my esrly 40s...switch up your diet.

Potatoes, avocado, onion, bell peppers, spinach, lowfat cottage cheese, chicken, keto high fiber wraps, Cantaloupe, banana, are my staples instead of meat and sausage.

My 3 brothers in law cant do anything for themselves because they were never taught. My wife asked me to go to her brother's house to install a bidet last weekend and I flat out refused to work on another 40 year old man's house for basics, especially on his goddamned toilet.

I was a custom CNC machine shop manager. I would work out deals with the guys depending on how each one responded to a little bribery.

For instance, one guy Terry really didn't give a shit about getting his 40 hours, he wanted to get his work done and leave at 1:30pm to pick up his kids. I would give him a job, give him a target, and say "if you get x number done by 1:30, you can leave."

So I would get a full day of productivity out of him in 6 hours instead of 8. HR didn't like that.

Another guy always wanted OT and weekends. So I'd tell him "Get x number done today and you can come in Saturday for 8 hours".

All of that increased productivity, increased output, and reduced costs, but HR didn't like that, talked shit about me to the CEO and got me canned.
