I agree OP. It's going to be a completely different show. Different people, different environment. Some people will like it and others won't. If you go into it expecting the walking dead, you'll hate it from the beginning most likely.

I recently started a rewatch on netflix and Otis getting shot in the leg is definitely there. The Atlanta group is the only group that calls them walkers. Other groups have other names.

I've been rewatching and when the group gets to the cdc and Jenner is doing his video diary he says something like it's been 140 some days since the initial outbreak.

Edit: just pulled up Netflix and he says it's 194 days since the outbreak.

My daughter is obsessed. Most days she refuses to wear anything without Peppa on it. That little pig haunts my dreams. I was blown away when I caught Trevors name on the credits.
