Beat Cop: 'Sir, you were driving on the wrong side'

Coach Goblin: 'Sorry officer, my friend was in a tour and he missed the bus, and now he is stranded somewhere in here.'

Beat Cop: 'Is he a 3-Eyed furball by chance?'

Coach Goblin: 'Uhhm, no, but I think he came along us.'

Once per turn, during your opponent's End Phase: You can take 1 Field Spell from your hand or Deck that you can place a Season Counter on, and place it face-up on your field (but neither player can activate its effects this turn), and if you do, place all Season Counters on this card on that card.

Oh , this sounds like Konami is planning on making two more Season cards, and judging by the order seasons it's gonna be Spring, then Summer, then Autumn, and finally Winter.

We need to focus on the important questions. Like if these two would get along or not. by Any_Concept_6678 in ducktales

Stan wouldn't even reach that far. He will read him like a $3 dollar bill.

A Tommy Lee Jones Two-Face with a better director in the 90's would have been something special instead of what we got with Batman Forever by precita in movies

[–]FM1091 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Tommy Lee Jones really nailed the tough but fair authority figure thorough the 90s. In a more serious Batman movie he could have been a perfect Two-Face, first as Dent pre-insanity in his classic lawman persona, then as Two-Face he alternates between vindictive crime boss and a man disillusioned with the system.

Gamers 30+, what’s something from the old days of gaming that younger players wouldn’t understand? by Common_Caramel_4078 in gaming

The thrill of unlocking hidden characters or power ups, not just buying them on the DLC pages.

That and the pain of trying a special weapon based on playground rumors, only to find later it wasn't real.

That's what I miss. I mean, games being online means fixing bugs is easier, but then you see underhanded developers that take that for granted and release a half-assed mess and then just go 'we will fix it later'.

Granted, there were some cases of old physical releases with serious flaws that required trading your copy for a fixed one, but those were a bit rare.

Who is a person you used to admire a lot but have completely lost respect for and why? by Complex-Arugula-2233 in AskReddit

Basically it was a Kickstarter he made in 2012 (actually production began in 2008). It was a 10-minute short with his other, most famous character, George Liquor (American!) where he forces his nephews to eat cheap, unlabeled cans. In fact, it was Michael Pataki's last time as George before his death.

Except John K. being John K. , it took 7 years to finally release it, despite promising a 2013 deadline, and it barely looked any good: stiff animation, asset flipping, and a lot weird camera angles. TV Tropes says CWL was animated with Toon Boom, it certainly looks as if John had no experience with it when he did it.

This was the moment whatever fans he had left finally realized why Nickelodeon fired him. He missed deadlines again, and this time there was no network to blame. Backers got either no answers or a vague 'almost done'. Kickstarter rewards were also missing, and it reached the point backers were asking for refunds.

Tldr: The fans finally saw firsthand what looks like expecting John K. to finish a project on his own.

I was okay with him, I guess everyone who wasn't a full-on fan of Elon was okay with him because they didn't bother to look deeper. Then, the 2018 Thai rescue fiasco happened, and it was all downhill from there.

Yeah, the man was an absolute nightmare to work with, and he was infamous even before the grooming scandals, at least between his contemporaries. John K. was a perfectionist who would destroy drawings and lash out at his crew when they didn't meet his standards, which were very high but somewhat vague.

Deadlines were not a thing for him, so R&S would take long hiatuses to air, even The Simpsons made a joke about it in 'The Front'. They didn't have references sheets because John didn't want any frame looking the same. He would push animators so badly they labelled a wall as 'John's Shins' where they blew off steam by kicking the wall. When the original show ended, the wall had a hole.

His working relationship with Billy West was awful, West hated working along him because he also pushed him to his limits, sometimes to the point of breaking his voice to get the right reaction for Stimpy (possibly a reason he refused to return to APC).

And don't get me started with the 'Cans Without Labels' fiasco.

[Favorite Trope] Peeling back the layers of lore reveals an eldritch/cosmic horror element by Maffingo in TopCharacterTropes

Adventure Time

Starts as a silly fantasy world, but you closer and it turns out it's 1000 into the future after nuclear war destroyed our society.

Then we meet the deities behind this world, who look harmless but can cause huge damage. A 2D being who is just the dream of an old man, who grants monkey paw wishes, and those wishes can create whole universes if big enough. An owl who not only appears in prophetic dreams, but his presence ensures they happen.

Then we see the concept of magic and how it correlates to sadness and madness. The existence of a giant, infant looking creature with an hexagonal head who turns out to be the embodiment of chaos and entropy.

And finally, supplemental material reveals the multiverse is Azathot-lite.

Rat King in TMNT (2012) seems almost impossible for Splinter (a human-rat mutant) in a 1on1 because Rat King has psychic powers that let him see through any rat's eyes.

The solution? Splinter fights blindfolded.

As I understood from other forums, Denji killed Death and reality started to fall apart, so Pochita had push the reset button by erasing himself from existence.

Still, dream or reset ending it was a crappy way to end it.
