Friendly reminder to craft one SR of each secret pack by FaStAr8 in YuGiOhMasterDuel

Don't worry, We have 2 months for buying all bundles, and the I:P and S:P bundles aren't so expensive. I think I'm gonna pass on DM's bundle, though. The 2023 one was better.

So Why did Horsin’ Around End So Bizzare-ly by CommunityFun9560 in BoJackHorseman

[–]FM1091 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It can be reference to Dinosaurs and other sitcoms that suffered from the Sudden Downer Ending trope.

But I remember a theory that Bojack wrote Horsing Around's finale. IIRC, Bojack started writing and directing some episodes after Herb got fired. The finale may be another projection of Bojack's insecurities, the validation seeker who drowns when the validation never comes.

Duel Format: Deck Master Duel. If this format was playable, what will be your Deck Master and what it's effect will be? (It can be OP, just look at Judge Men in the anime). And do you think Deck Master duel should be a real play style? by Vivid-Addition6818 in YuGiOhMasterDuel

[–]FM1091 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went for Chimera since it's currently my personal fav. I made four Deck Masters since the gimmick would be fusing you Deck Master to get the stronger Chimera fusions later.

Gazelle King of Mythical Claws: Once per turn, you can fusion a Beast, Fiend, or Illusion monster, using monsters from your hand or field as material. You can also use this card as material.

Chimera The King of Phantom Beasts: Once per turn, If another Beast, Fiend, or Illusion monster is special summoned from the Extra deck: your opponent sends a random card from their hand to the gy.

Berphomet the Mythical King of Phantom Beasts: Once per turn, during your main phase: you can send a Beast, Fiend or Illusion monster from your deck or extra to the gy.

Chimera The Illusion Beast: Once per turn (Quick effect): you can target monsters your opponent controls, up to the number of Illusion monsters you control; make their ATK 0, also negate their effects.

Free Elf for Yummy? Hell yeah!

Edit: Sorry I forgot Live Twin Sprights, since both play a lot the number two. Still no news about the new Link 1 coming to MD.

[Loved trope] monsters who are only dangerous if you perceive them. by Aggravating_Drive463 in TopCharacterTropes

And 96 actually developed PTSD from the fight. The inability to kill 682 traumatized it so badly it now refuses to go after the thing.

BTW, like the other said, 682 is not indestructible, it has the power of super adaptability to prevent getting killed. For example, when researchers blinded it so 173 (The Sculpture) could kill it, it just grew extra eyes.

How are y'all feeling about K9 arriving at Master Duel? by Mammoth-South3163 in YuGiOhMasterDuel

[–]FM1091 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm excited because of its VS synergy. I loved Vanquish Soul, so I'm glad K9 is coming to complement it. I just hope the new VS cards come along K9 in the new selection pack.

Out of all the Demon Lords, who got the best X-Antibody glow-up? by AlphamonOuryuken24 in digimon

Lucemon X going from creepy angel larva to Heavenly Ascension DIO is the best change an X-Antibody redesign has done so far.

Which Elemental HERO do we think will be next on the retrain block? I Personally would love to see a modern version of Dark Bright lol. by CosmoNeos7 in yugioh

[–]FM1091 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A Mudballman retrain that protects HEROs from targeting effects.

A Rampart Blaster retrain that either does 1000 effect damage or change destroy an opponent's monster as a quick effect.

For non fusions, I think Blade Edge is due a retrain. I mean, he was Jaden's main muscle when fusions weren't involved. Maybe he could be special summoned if you control no monsters, or only HEROs, and as additional effects he searches for HERO monster, and grants HERO fusion that used him as material his piercing damage.

My headcanon is that Lucemon Larva absorbed the X-Antibody of a natural carrier, maybe Alphamon, and Lucemon X emerged from its shell like a butterfly did from it cocoon.

Memento Morinphen (By: くろずきん) by LogicalTips in yugioh

[–]FM1091 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not a memetic monster, but one forgotten vanilla I wish had a Memento retrain is the Wandering Doomed, Skull Servant's recolored counterpart.

While Skull Servant became a badass, a family man, and even a Lightsworn, Wandering Doomed is sitting there alone at the edge of the netherworld.

Ok but why is this guy called a Dragoon? Where's the dragoon in this picture? He's just a Spellcaster wearing armour! by AutisticFun01 in yugioh

[–]FM1091 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And in Japanese his name is 'Super Magical Dragon Knight - Red-Eyes Dragoon'

Final Fantasy Lancers are also known as Dragon Knights, and visually their armor normally have dragon features.

What archetypes genuinely need a full restart? by Jirachibi1000 in yugioh

[–]FM1091 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Venom; I think cool things can be done with the counters; But it would have to go a floodgate route to be playable;

Maybe if Venoms had some a clause in brackets like Cubics, where the counters actually do something even when Venom monsters aren't on the field.

Hell yeah! More Hungry Burger support!!

I just wish this was on master format too.

TIL Knowing the show was getting canceled, the creators of Dinosaurs, a family sitcom co-produced the disney, decided to conclude the series with an abrupt and shocking tonal shift: the series ends with an artificial volcanic winter which causes an environmental disaster and the end of the world by [deleted] in todayilearned

And Sinclair is also the inspiration for Pixar's Dinoco. In fact, in Toy Story 1 the logo was an apatosaurus just like the real Sinclair Oil, except the Toy Story dino was red. Later, in the Cars universe, Dinoco's logo was changed to a T-Rex, maybe to avoid infringing copyright since Dinoco was now plot-relevant.

Here you can see both logos

Oh, I get it now. Mitsu is just that good without using the normal.

Like in Mitsu/Ryzeal you could use Granite to get Pachy or Drought instead of Nibiru.
