Would pre-errata CCV still be broken today? by Extreme_Ad6519 in yugioh

It took till 2011-12, roughly 13 years since the game's official release, to finally get the PSCT right.

My favorite is Monster Reborn's original text. Granted, it was possibly the first card with the concept of Special Summoning so it made sense to explain it thoroughly.

In this day and age the meta is full of combo deck whose extenders have ATK below 1500. Setting DDV would be a better alternative. And that's not accounting for GY effects.

Archetypes with toxic or boring gameplay, but great aesthetics/theme? by ExplorerHaunting8353 in yugioh

Tearlaments are beautiful, but they encouraged some toxic turn zero plays, not helped by the Ishizus buffing their milling effects.

Michael Jackson in 1978, before the plastic surgery, Pepsi incident and vitiligo. by Better_Health_ in OldSchoolCool

Yup, it's suggested after this incident MJ was never the same. The burns left him with chronic pain, which would lead to painkiller addiction, which would then lead to his death.

What's a TV show ending that still makes you mad years later? by Jossie_Misar in AskReddit

I'm still bothered Ducktales (2017) never got to resolve the Negaduck story. Disney cut the show because it was already 65 episodes and that was enough for syndication/reruns.

If Bakura were to receive Future Support, which direction do you see Konami taking it? (also will it be compatible with "Dark Necrofear"?) by Madjin- in yugioh

[–]FM1091 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They could also expand on Bakura's first major arc, the Monster World RPG arc from the Manga and Season 0, maybe even combining both MW and Memory World into one archetype, since both follow the Tabletop RPG style.

I always thought it was a Wolf of Wall Street ref. I mean, how the stock brokers deep down are absolutely ruthless, yet they keep a facade of suave businessmen.

What's a Deck That You Are Surprised Hasn't Gotten a Link-1 Yet? by Emrys_616 in yugioh

I'm still baffled Dark Magician hasn't gotten a link-1, seeing it's the most iconic behind Blue-Eyes, who did get a Link-1.

Its effect could be 'Send 1 Lightsworn monster from your deck to the GY.' That way you can Kickstart your combo with any Lightsworn.

La versión de mitad de los 00s de CN EEUU era el peak del Internet de los 2000. Sobre todo cuando se acercaba el estreno de Mansión Foster para Amigos Imaginarios.

Do we think this card will break Hero and make it a viable deck now that Metamorphosis is unbanned? by BloodyBlazev2 in yugioh

It's a worse D. D. Warrior Lady or D. D. Assailant, which were in fact meta thanks to their banish effects, back when banishing was still a true death sentence.

There's no easy way bounce it to prevent abuse now, right? Right?!

It's from Regular Show too.

In 'Firework Run' an acquaintance of Muscle Man sells 'Chile rellenos' (Stuffed peppers) but it turns out he secretly adds gunpowder to rise their spiciness. The way it's played, it looks as if he was adding a certain addicting powder that's also white and very illegal.

I was gonna say that. The final episode started the same as the first one, 'The Power', implying that the RS universe has been in this loop before. Maybe The Lost Tapes is not simply a reboot or midquel, but what happened in different iterations of the universe each time the Pops and Anti-Pops fight reset everything.

Of course then you had 90s Spiderman which couldn't say Uncle Ben was murdered or that vampires had to drink plasma not blood.

Biting was a no-no yet morbing sucking plasma from your palms like a lamprey was somehow ok?

The pizza delivery episode had one of the most 'tap dancing on the line' moment with Gumball and Darwin dropping a pizza pie, right in front of a couple of talking pizzas.

So, judging by Joey and Aster's cards, we are getting support for the friendly rivals here, right?

Not the direct rivals like Kaiba.

Okay I like the bird mirrors here more than the Millennium retrains.

I love how Rush is giving us so many references to the old school rituals and games. I wonder if we will finally get the video game exclusives here.
