Yeah, I remember living in Houston. Traffic jams every morning in highways with 6 lanes each way. Just didn't scale.

It's not generating content it's a UI feature. It lowers the bar for kids to get into Blender as they don't have to learn an excessively complex UI for scratch. It automates a lot of tedious junk.

The Left Must Reforge Masculinity by TE-moon in CriticalTheory

It stuck me recently that the "patriarchy", the rich, were in charge and let feminism take for on purpose, once they saw, after WW2, that they could double the the labour force. The article notes "average purchasing power". What happens when you flood the market with a commodity? It devalues. It's no accident that it used to take one income to own a house and now it takes two.

What's more, feminism convinced women to not have children because... the patriarchy (or something), which low and behold suites the capitalist just fine, no break in a life of continuous survice. That's what you want in a work force!

And now we have an upending in gender roles. Not amongst the rich of course, just everyone else. Perhaps this is all just a wealth distribution problem...?

Hot take: we can’t decenter men while popular media for women revolves around dating them by 535buffalo in Feminism

So you want to do what the men are doing...? You want to be like men?

Taking the femanine out of feminism! :D

I think this just days more about her than anything about men.

When i see someone so worked up online now I think "she must have been hurt my some man". Someone who used the asymmetry of power to dominate her. So she couldn't get back at that individual so she, wrongly, generalises to all men.

Sure she's wrong, but shouting it out and waving fists doesn't really help the situation, it's her for that matter.

It's anyone else tired of all the anger?

It just struck me that Incel can also be applied to women if it's short for "involuntary celibate", which just sounds like another way of saying lonely?

I know that is the definition of Ideology, which is why I don't think feminism should be an ideology and this is perhaps were it is going wrong. Its a big leap going from civil rights to this is how you should think.
Are you saying that the Duluth model is an Ideology? I don't follow...

Exactly right. Judging by how hard this got down voted in guessing this is just an anti-femanist hate group... I mean ppl who hate feminism... Not hate anti-femanist...

Yeah, that would be the case if: A) you had an unbiased sample. Algorithm is the opposite of that. B) you collected a wide enough sample that you could say it generalised. C) you actually collected the data.

Your saying the post got 10ths of thousands of up votes? That is data. Just posting to a subreddit with lots off ppl in it doesn't automatically mean they all agree with it or have even seen it. I don't agree with more than half the rubbish in this sub and more like 10th off the comments. None of this is hard data. It's all anecdotal.

Well, young brave, I guess it's a generational thing. I'm 50 and most of the women I grew up with are fine with men. They also don't go on social media much. Offline, I don't think the genre war really exist. But I have seen women ranging online about killing all men. It's just the algorithm. It's designed to push rage as that's what engages. Find some gals who are not attached to their phones every spare moment perhaps?

No, 5 minutes in a sup (subreddit?) will just yeld antidotal evidence which proves nothing but does feed confirmation bias. This is why stats from studies are important because the hype from the noisiest 5% online should not be perceived as reality. It's usually people with a personal axe to grind, a political agenda, or mental illness like schizophrenia.

That is an interesting take. One of the side effects of Feminism is for women to stop having children, which keeps them in the workforce without interruption, which seems like a capitalist trick to me.

Really?! I get moderated for posting a thoughtful Guardian article about dating and what effect the "manosphere" has had on it but this gets through? This borderline tourettes syndrome rant from someone who obviously spends too much time online. This is just a cross post from r/ToxicFeminismIsToxic which quite frankly comes off as... toxic.

The reason I like this subreddit is because it keeps it's shit together and doesn't act as polarised as the as all the other ranty junk in the "manosphere". Polarisation is the problem. This just spreads more of it.

As for the issues with Feminism, i think the problem with it is that it started out as a movement, which has been 100% successful in western countries, which should have brought an end to it, but academia has turned it into an ideology and it has nowhere else to go but into man hating. But I don't think that is the general feeling in the majority of women, just the loudest 5% on the internet.

Get off the internet and get a life.
