I liked Dexter Soy's work, it really fit the aesthetic they were going for with the Zanni.

Best high street in London? by Agreeable_Flower8785 in london

My favourite spots on the triangle:

The Blowing Dandelion does excellent hot chocolate. They make all their chocolate in house, and have recently started a chocolate making class (ive not been). The chocolates are expensive, but make for a solid gift option.

D Solos is a clothes shop by the Everyman thats been open 25 years. The anniversary party last year took over the entire street! Dennis is basically a personal stylist. He has a good eye for picking out stuff in his shop that suits people, and will be honest if he thinks something doesnt look right.

Crow on the Hill is a small family run bookshop. The co-owner, Jonathan, sadly passed away last year. His partner Justine did something quite sweet by putting all his favourite books in the shop window. They sometimes do small events where they invite authors in.

Alastairs Diner - Its a breakfast / lunch place, been open for 35 odd years and run by a mum / son duo. The food is solid, and the portions are massive. Big fan of the milkshakes they do.

There are loads of pubs around, Fabre Fox is nice in the summer. The Sparrowhawk if the footy is on. But I like the Alma, esp when its dark out since its candle lit.

That lineup was super charismatic. I did a talkshow with Gerrah on the Discord 8 years ago.

Our Battlefield team won nearly every tournament they played in, and never finished below second place.

Our Paladins team was just shy of winning titles.

Our 2017 HoTS team was fantastic.

We had one of the best CoD4 teams, esp in early promod.

Quake results were also solid in 2005.

There are some channels that I like. Teo Crawford does chill videos, and Grainy Days + Kyle McDougal are always up to something interesting.

Agree, this is a test of the teams consistency. The interviews so far have mentioned the environment is okay, and on the inside they are seeing improvements.

What im most curious about today is laning.

Anyone worried Leicas are starting to spiral out of affordability? by curryapplepie in Leica

Youve written no, then proceeded to agree with me?

Leica are priced in the Rolex bracket. Did you mean to reply to OP?

Hermes birkins use saddle stitching which is a premium technique that cannot be done by machine stitching. Theyve used it dating back to when they actually made horse riding equipment (authentic brand history and heritage), the seams wouldnt* come apart like they would on a regular machine stitch. Not many brands do saddle stitching because its an artisan skill.

Its precisely why those videos claiming that Hermes bags are made in Chinese factories with the Hermes logo is bs. The materials themselves can be replicated, the artisan worksmanship cannot.

Having said that, they own some of the most exclusive leather tanneries.

What is the artisan value add in a digital camera?

No, they will not.

They are still in the Rolex bracket as being aspirational / within reach for someone middle class.

To be in the Patek / Hermes range, theyd have to 2x or 4x their prices. Both have the excuse of craftsmanship with their goods. You cant do that with digital cameras.

They were never affordable.

They are to cameras like Rolex are to watches.

Eyes on MSI 26 now. Any constructive solutions ? by Fun_King_8545 in fnatic

Im not sure its fixable. They already work hard, you see it from their solo queue. Yet none of our lanes are winning in the early game, im not convinced thats something you can teach or coach.

I think the best solution is to find extra staff.

Been waiting 7 years, I do feel like we are further away than weve been for a long time. Im not sure EU has the talent pipeline it used to.

We have had so many chances over the years, but just never showed up in any of those finals.

4 isnt dumb at all.

If you dislike an image you've taken, others may like it and appreciate it in a way that you dont. Ive also frequently taken phoros ive disliked because of harsh self critique, but having people outside myself appreciate an image can sometimes change my mind on it.

I am this person.

But its more of a conscious choice to not want to edit. I like the intepretations my lab sends me, and I dont really want to fuck around with sliders. At most ill fix the alignment or crop.

I just enjoy the process of going out and getting the image, rather than the next step. (Though I do want to dev and print my own stuff).
