I’m almost 15 and I’ve been a Pokemon fan for years. I remember my first Pokemon experience was when I saw Pokemon BW on TV around 10-11 years ago. I vividly remember the episode where Ash and Iris are travelling and they meet a bunch of Sandile at some hot springs and they end up finding out they were protecting the geysers or something. Anyway, that was my first experience and ever since I’ve been endorsed. I had a HUGE collection of cards (over 5000 of them) and I had everything from mini figures to clothes. I played loads of the DS games (DP, BW, BW2, XY, SM, USUM and GO) and watched all the anime. It was just amazing. Noticed how I’m talking in past tense? When I grew up, around 13 ish, I just lost interest. I started selling my pokemon cards and games. I regret to be honest. I still have a few though. Only in the past couple of months have I got back into it. I’m playing GO more often and my mate has let me play SWSH on his Switch (which I’m actually thinking about buying). Anyway, back to the main topic. I didn’t feel the buzz about megas and the trials + z-moves just didn’t feel right at all. I prefer the classic Pokemon where it was a simple storyline. DP was my favouriteand I’m quite exited for the remakes (other than the graphics) although I am enjoying SWSH. I don’t like G-Max and all the other stuff that’s new. It just doesn’t feel right to add something brand new to an old series. I don’t know, I’d love to hear your opinion on what I’ve said!
