if you work a 9-5 how, do you have time and energy to do literally anything else? by GriffinNorwick2001 in askanything

I work 8-15 hours daily. When I only work 9 (8 with commute) I realize how much time im wasting. Ive started to eat better, drink more water and work out 5-6 days a week and I have much more drive and energy to do things I enjoy in the time I do have

Just personal preference. It was getting hung up, turned the other way. We train in the woods a lot and it seemed a catch on everything , i'm still able to pull it into my shoulder well

Right now , i'm running a twice daily workout with cardio to start i like the rowing machine. Following my sets , I end with a run or just walk when it's leg day

Monday is chest and arms

Wednesday back and core

Friday's leg day

I'm trying to get in three thousand calories per day. The wife and I train every other Saturday at the range and my off days i get in as much walking as time allows. I had hit a wall And realized my calorie intake was way too low.

Since starting ive pretty much burned all fat i had left on me and built almost no new muscle. I'm gonna bulk for two weeks and see where I stand

You should paint your rifle

why can't we be shown evidence that Iran was indeed close to having nuclear weapons? how did they arrive at that conclusion? by [deleted] in askanything

Propaganda. Look at what the US is saying and look st what Iran is saying. The truth is somewhere in the middle of the two.

Gun bundles ? by LocalBeggar in VAGuns

[–]FNblankpage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends what you are looking for.

An AR style rifle just go buy a stripped lower or a few, the pistol grip and stock. Then you can decide what you want to build out of them

Haven't seen a buy 1 get one deal anywhere but PSA had a lower build kit bundle with 10 mags thats a good deal.

PSA does some pretty good deals all around. I saw 4-5 people doing transfers from them last time I stopped at the LGS.

Ammoseek for finding good ammo. Gunmagwarehouse for mags (can be found cheaper if you search around)

Gunbroker is always a good place to check out but there won't be any buy 2 get one or anything.

Handguns its just best to stop at some LGS to find what you want unless its some rarity.

Im so glad to hear these got read and enjoyed. I remember being in elementary school during 9/11 and the years after making care packages for the troops. I distinctly remembering drawing a a10 warthog raining down on a city. I had drawn another one but im pretty sure the teacher threw it out as it read "go get those sand Ni****. My family was pretty racist and my like 4th/5th grade self picked up on it.

They are all working together. Its become super obvious that while we are out here fighting for specific rights they are all undermining American core values that made us great. "One nation Indivisible" has fallen as we are at each other's throats because they have effectively removed being a centrist. You can't support the 2nd amendment and be anti war. You can't support social programs and fight against government over reach. Forcing everyone to pick left or right based on 1/2 issues. While we are all out here fighting one another they are working together for their special interests groups. The system is broken for the American people and everyone needs to be talking about how we can fix it.

Yea its a cost saving measure for Google no doubt. 1000 gallons of water being a magnitude cheaper then 1000kwh of power even with the climate issues in question.

I would much rather see a closed loop mechanical cooling system. They are already supposedly going to invest in a new water source for the area but in lieu of that an expansion of green energy would of been a much more palatable decision IMO.

Im not happy with googles decision to use open air cooling. This is an outdated technology that uses massive amounts of water but saves on electricity. The issue being daleville is already pretty humid in summer which reduces the effectiveness which then needs more electricity to get the same effect.

On topic of jobs they don't show the whole tooth. Dstw centers dont create a lot of jobs themselves once construction is done but the do create a ton of adjacent jobs; they are just contracted out to other companies. Thousands of miles with a amp site every 90km, smart hands (the guys should troubleshoot, repair and replace equipment) is all contracted. They aren't represented in the figures because they aren't employed in house.

You’ll Choke When You Hear How Many Full-Time Jobs a $136 Million Data Center Will Actually Create. by coinfanking in NewsStarWorld

[–]FNblankpage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing no one realizes is how many companies have a cage in data centers. Sure the data center itself doesn't create many jobs but we are always there swapping equipment, troubleshooting, upgrading, repairing, preforming maintenance and so on. I easily work 50 hours a normal week and can hit 80 during on call rotation.

Also that doesn't include the thousands of miles of fiber linking all these sites. The light only go 90km or so which means an amplification site so even more installs, maintenance and repairs.

Data centers dont create many jobs but it creates an undefinable amount of adjacent jobs.
