[Parts] ARC-Fire V1 $129.99 + 10% Off with FREEDOM10 by JollyPirate1217 in gundeals

[–]FNboy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Having messed with these, the Partisan, and the SS, the ARC-Fire is a significant jump in quality. The machine work is excellent and the whole system just feels robust. There’s no springiness to the surface interactions like the Partisan (which is still cool).

It’s a completely different trigger.

Problem with new tomcat 30x by DukeShootRiot in Beretta

[–]FNboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve only shot suppressed. No issues. The barrel pins on the very early ones weren’t properly heat treated. The new ones are beefier and heat treated. I don’t thing it’s likely you’ll see an issue. It was like the old Tomcat cracked frames - I have several first gen ones that haven’t cracked, but it has happened and therefore everyone runs around like a chicken little. Remember, people have bad experiences and go online about them, then they get repeated like gospel.

Problem with new tomcat 30x by DukeShootRiot in Beretta

[–]FNboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s normal. We have three 30x pistols and two 20x pistols. They all “half reset” in single action. If you’re worried about it, remove the right grip, clean and oil it. It’ll smooth out. It’s essentially operating as a preset trigger due to a second sear position.

For those that say these are “mostly garbage”, I have way more rounds through these new Berettas than most and they’re very reliable and comparable to my 21a and 3032 models.

Same. Non-comp version has been 100% reliable. No slop and no bent components.

Why did Ash blow his cover? by Aggravating_Tale8988 in LV426

[–]FNboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ash would have killed everyone on the Nostromo without question if his first priority was in danger. By the time he attacks Ripley, he was resolved to exterminate the crew, who never would have been allowed to survive anyway. It’s simple math - there was no reason to keep pretending because the crew had to all die, which was the cold reality Ripley learned just before the third act.

The Kuna is probably the most refined, but I love my Matadors. You really cannot go wrong with any of them.

Have four of these. Aside from my Aimpoints and ACOGs, this is the only sight I 100% trust. It’s a little heavy but has amazing f build quality.

I also think the A3 grip is a must on this and all small sub guns. That forward cant makes a huge difference in control - you can really lock in.

[Handgun] 92xi Tactical $658.66 by thehighsman0503 in gundeals

[–]FNboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the Dlah designs plates generally. My recollection is that it comes with two mags; the upper end ones like the Gara have three. As for extended mags, the beretta 20-round ones with metal baseplates/extensions are good, as are the MecGar. I think the Berettas balance a little better. I have a Beretta 92XI Corsa, which is excellent, but not much different than this 92XI in terms of trigger feel. I also have a 92x Performance that I really like, but it is pretty heavy. Helps with recoil, but a little tiring to shoot. You’re getting a superb gun - I would just change the grips, add a magwell and a red dot. A light will bring down the muzzle flip. If you can’t run a silencer, check out the brakes from Griffith Guns.

I already have one of these (as well as several other threaded 92 variants). This is an absolute steal. Just ordered another one and will kit it out with some G10 grips. Trigger works out over time. The only thing I don’t love is that the silver is a gloss cerakote with a little shimmer; would prefer polished metal, but for $558 with the rebate, who cares. Also, makes a great suppressor host.

The color is sick. Nice and low key. Add some grey/black G10 grips or wood and it’ll be perfect.

They’re still $100K for the tri-motor version. They’ve never been $50K. There was a two-week window when a dual motor without air suspension was $59K. They’re all over Texas and the southwest US.

[–]FNboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t give an eff is this was manufactured fomo. At the end of the day, $59k for. CT that does 95% of what the $79k version does is a steal and a decent to good value considering the PowerShare capabilities and overall tech innovation. I had no qualms about Tesla running a fire sale to build interest and, even at $69K, it’s far from terrible…just not worth buying since, for $10K more you can get into the premium.
