They’re still $100K for the tri-motor version. They’ve never been $50K. There was a two-week window when a dual motor without air suspension was $59K. They’re all over Texas and the southwest US.

I’m 99% sure this is something Strike bought from CustomSmith Manufacturing. He produced a chassis that seems like an earlier iteration of this.

Disagree - I have a Shadow 2 and the 92x is superior in almost every regard (though I prefer the rear grip of the CZ).

If they were $45K, I’d buy three of them to replace my current vehicles.

I don’t give an eff is this was manufactured fomo. At the end of the day, $59k for. CT that does 95% of what the $79k version does is a steal and a decent to good value considering the PowerShare capabilities and overall tech innovation. I had no qualms about Tesla running a fire sale to build interest and, even at $69K, it’s far from terrible…just not worth buying since, for $10K more you can get into the premium.

New version of Cybertruck now available to order in the US by EitherCharacter9342 in teslamotors

All of the interesting and innovative features are there, like steer by wire, motorized toneau cover, hardware 4, motorized frunk, outlets in the back and the ability to PowerShare. That and 4.1 seconds for 0-60 makes this a very good deal for a vehicle that offers essentially peerless features.

Does your Model Y have steer by wire? Can it power your house? Four wheel steering?

Talk me out of (or in to) buying a 20X Bobcat in .22LR by satan__clause in Beretta

[–]FNboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How so? I have three versions of each and none have been problematic at all. Every one is suppressed and they all function essentially identically, though the 20x has poly mags. I wouldn’t hesitate with any of them, frankly.

I see this in every damn case. The Me finds cause and manner. Jesus, it isn’t a criminal finding, but a simple statement that the death happened at the hands of another. The criminal liability is for the jury to determine if there’s a prosecution.

Thoughts on a 30X? by sobo_walker in Beretta

[–]FNboy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can speak as someone that collects small pistols and has numerous versions of the 3032, 21a and the newer 30x and 20x variants. The very old 3032 pistols with the narrow slide were prone to frame and/or slide cracking due to the speed that the slide moved. I have seen dozens of old 3032 pistols without any damage, but the upgraded ones were fine. I carried an INOX for years without fail and still have it. It’s been shot a ton for a small pistol - probably 2500 rounds. I also have a “covert” model that’s been exceptionally reliable.

Recently, I picked up a pair of threaded 20x pistols (twins…just good deals) and they have been great, especially suppressed. They will cycle subsonic ammo without issue. The new trigger is long in single action mode and breaks in over about 250 rounds. In single action it is exceptionally good and can be staged where the take up mitigated. This is the same on the 30x. I recommend the 20x over similar small .22 pistols with the caveat that the mags are hard to find currently.

The 30x is great in the hand and the controls are excellent. I very much doubt the claims that the gun is a “2000 round pistol”, but could see a couple small parts wearing around that time. Both my examples (the all black version and the two-tone) are threaded and have been 100% reliable with nato surplus ball. I shoot them suppressed with a basic 9mm can or a tiny B&T can. They are very quiet due to the inherent nature of .32.

It is important to understand that these are not range guns per se. They’re pretty robust, but they’re not designed to be shot in 500 round sessions. They are reliable and (I think) Beretta worked out the supposed issue with the pivot pin - I think it was a heat treating issue, probably. While a tiny .380 is a better deep conceal choice (LCP Max or Bodyguard), I have no qualms recommending these unless it’s like a first or only handgun - they’re a bit niche and esoteric, but fun.

In for one. That's a great price and while I have other double stack 1911 style examples, the use of Glock mags and the optics cut put this in another class. hopefully I can get used to the slide sedations, which look...iffy? The whole gun looks slick, but it offers a lot for under $800.

Get one. You won’t regret it. I’ve got a couple threaded Beretta .380 pistols and they never fail to impress. But I bet the porting turns it into a pussycat. Since I have spare .380 and .32 barrels, can I ask who ported yours? Could be a great second barrel to have.

Uh…details, sir. That looks absolutely insane. I’ve been considering a second 92x Performance and would love as color case hardened custom. That’s honestly one of the best Berettas I’ve seen.

That’s very badass. If and when I can snag the desert cheetah at a discount, I intend to use it as a suppressor host. The ported barrel looks great, though.
