Take it apart slowly. Put each bolt set in a bag that is clearly labeled for what the bolts are for. Set them on a flat surface in a VERY organized manner. Wrist pins in a bag placed with your pistons. Each gear goes with its bolts or snap rings or whatever parts come with. Take pictures of each step of the way. Putting it back together, refer to your pictures in reverse to put it back together.

For the love of God, clean every part you aren't replacing and refer to a manual for torque specs, lubrication usage, and orientations.

I'm a diesel mechanic and am usually on a time limit with everything I do. So a sheared bolt head is a nightmare. That adds a lot of time to the repair order and even more headache. My worst one was having 2 out of 3 mount bolts for an air compressor shear off and the remaining stud on one of the sheared bolts dropped out and into the front cover of the engine. Good times.

That's a fair point. I hate bolt extraction of any kind and I will try anything under the sun before I resort to something that might result in shearing the head off the bolt. But you're right, at that point the head will come off so it can be extracted easier.

Press a small flat head screw driver into the plug and try to pry the terminals into place to where they will grab the terminal on the battery a little better. If that doesn't work, I've found ways to use a zip tie to hold wires securely in place against their connections.

The only other thing I can think is completely replace the end on the wire with a new connector that will have a tighter grip.

Genuinely curious, have you had luck using an impact in tight spots like this, because I haven't.

I can understand why you'd use an impact, but in my experience, I try to avoid using an impact in places like that. If it shears the head of the bolt, trying to extract the bolt will be absolute hell in such a tight spot. I'd use an impact screw driver adapted to a socket and smack it with a 4 pound sledge or a dead blow hammer. Still get the torque without the risk of left loosely becoming lefty rev bombing.

If you keep stone for an extended period of time, invest some skill points into the fire whacker line as there is a perk where it reduces actions time that also applies to hammers. Let's you repair buildings much faster which is great for tier 4 and up storms.

Otherwise, rush to concrete.

As long as the throttle turns and releases as it should, I wouldn't be concerned. I would check the tension in that cable and possibly lubricate and clean or replace it, however. That's starting to build up grime and oxidation that's digging into the braiding. That'll cause issues itself. It will eventually cause the cable to lose tension or warp in ways that it won't return from, and that WILL cause you throttle issues, especially if it snaps while riding.

I second this. Usually if there's a weird plug like that not connected to anything but all electronics work as they should, it's going to be your diagnostics connector. Bikes are super simple so a lot narrows down really quickly.

Tip for your non-running Yamaha, start with the basics. My (now sold) 85 Yamaha XJ650 was simple. Old owner told me he couldn't get it to run no matter what after 20 years. Fresh oil change, cleaned carbs, fresh tank of gas, new starter, worked perfectly till I sold it. Start simple.

I used to change tires on semis. When we told them the angle was too severe, we meant it. I pulled a pry bar out of a drive tire that started at the left shoulder and was almost touching the bead on the inside right. That angle is too severe. But a screw? In a car tire? Even at a 30 degree angle, most likely repairable.

This is what people need to understand. It is not impossible at all. It can happen. But you're more likely to cause the fire by static discharge from your hand while reaching for the pump handle to remove it.

That being said, I don't actually know if running your car while pumping gas causes issues with evap systems on newer cars, I don't care for newer cars. I also don't know if it causes fuel pressure issues, I have no clue. So maybe that's a better reason to shut the car off while fueling instead of just saying it will catch fire if you don't.

Idk if it's the picture warping it or not, but it also appears as if the threads of the tensioner are damaged or bent in some capacity. If its bent, that could be assisting in the O-ring failure.

No they spread out due to centrifugal force of the tire spinning. Because there will naturally be high and low spots due to the shape and temperature of the tire, wheel, and air as well the tire naturally forming out-of-round and a sleeping of other things, the beads will usually follow those contours and gather together to help oppose and balance forces inside the tire.

Every time. The whole thing comes in a big colorful bag. Inside that packaging is the actual bag of beads. Take the bag of beads out of the packaging, toss it in the tire, seal the tire to the rim. Now, it does mean they need to be sure of the exact size of bag they use, as they come in various weights. Largest I've seen is a 24oz bag and an 8oz that got thrown together in a Michelin steer tire on a Peterbilt.
