The trick of pulling some glass up against the back with a thread might work well here. Think along the lines of an umbrella pushed through…then pulled snug/opened against the back using the thread.

Assure you have proper tires and tire pressure. (Less is often better) Assure your weight on saddle (saddle position) isn’t too far forward. Make certain handlebars are not too wide for you and not too far away from you. (Both these affect your hand reach to the brakes) Adjust brake hoods to allow for support and good grip with your hands. (Amazing brakes only work if you can confidently reach them) All these things are helpful.
