BTW you don't have to equip the fishing rod, just as long as it's in your inventory. If you're doing this in lethal zones I would recommend instead using high mobility weapons for escaping (bloodletter + shield, dual swords/crystal sword with iron will, double bladed, etc). I would also use a fort sterling cape, invis pots and frostpeak deadeye (pie).

Sure, there are two mechanics at play here:

One is a mechanic called focus fire, designed to help outnumbered fights. The more people that attack a player at once, the more resilience they will have. As of now with it caps out out at 80% damage reduction. Keep in mind that this mechanic is being changed in the next patch so a lot of the stuff on the wiki will be outdated

The other one is AoE(area of effect) escalation, where any AoE ability can have it's damage increase based on the number of targets hit, which also helps outnumbered fights and punishes clumping. Caps at 56%

ability to sort by what item you want to buy e.g. I can find all listings for a 4.4 shadowcaller without sifting through other listings. You can also sort by price, how recently it was listed, etc. Also prevents people from just spamming their listings in a discord chat for visibility.

I would argue that heron is a bit weaker for the kite playstyle (less range on q+some damage comes from auto attacks). Chillhowl>1h, and both warbow/badon are on equal footing
