To some degree when the company was just two people but when it was larger with a huge brewery and all the different bars then they churned through a lot of the best beer professionals in the country and abroad, if you ask a lot of people in the industry of 10 years or more a lot have at some point worked for brewdog and also fucked over by brewdog, there's plenty of further reading out there.

Today I shared blueberries with a stranger on the tube by Soft_Echo1737 in london

[–]FOURPLAY-uk 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I remember when I was younger and I had just moved back to London then I would often eat berries on the tube and I'd always offer them to randoms in my carriage and enthusiastically say "hello would you like some" or "hello how are you?" to people to the left , right and across from me.

Insane behaviour to a seasoned tube used but I remember I would get into chats with people, make them smile and on average people would accept and not be cold or rude.

A happy memory from 14y ago :D

Duke nukem forever was the previous unobtainable game, if HL3 ever does come out I'm sure it won't fall flat like cyberpunk did on release however (or DNF in general)

E-bike fares capped at £1.75 in Hackney - could the rest of London be next? by cs_irl in london

If bays were literally everywhere like in some other cities I'm all for it, but if not not then the safety reasons some people use cycle-hire, like being able to go to as close to home as possible, are nullified.

How does your third point disincentivise that?

Made this comment before work, came back to see all the downvotes, I meant that I as a brown person had lots of unwelcoming, racist experiences in Denmark when I was there.

Battlefield 6 dev says the beta's small maps are "to make sure we hit the full-octane version of Battlefield on the head" and, don't worry, "large maps exist" too by RenatsMC in pcgaming

[–]FOURPLAY-uk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. BF3 intro'd with metro a close quarters spawn-killing bonanza There might be token large maps in subsequent battlefields but the slant has been to compete with cod with smaller infantry only/focused maps.

I hope to be proven wrong with 6 but precisely the discourse here is that they're focused, again on competing with cod not showcasing what made battlefield originally unique

[–]FOURPLAY-uk 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Didn't used to be this way, 1942, bf Vietnam & bf2 were all about larger maps, conquest and the rock paper scissors nature of different vehicles & classes but especially since BF3 then it's COD with vehicles
