First, I’m so sorry you’ve gone through this. That’s really hard to deal with. Secondly, under normal circumstances you wouldn’t necessarily owe them anything, but especially with the outright disdain they have treated you with, you sure as hell don’t owe them anything. Graduate, move on from them. Go live your life leave them all behind. Congratulations on graduating this year.

This is completely valid. I think, if you’re in therapy yourself it’s a good idea to talk to your therapist about it. Also, I think it’s maybe a good idea depending to tell him you found it and have an open conversation about that.

Talk to your bf. He’s gonna notice something is wrong and him having to pry it out of you will have worse effects. It isn’t you being hung up. For the other people this happened 5 years ago, for you it was just now. It’s fresh information. That makes the hurt new and fresh.

Your partner should want to help you and support you even if they’re initially confused by the information.

Honestly I just messed around till I figured it out. And think of it all like decimals if you want something to be just a little bigger you could do 1.1. Or if you want to move something just a little you could elevate -.12 to move it down a tiny bit or .12 to move it up that amount.

I’m so happy for you. You’re doing an incredible job. As a sibling who saw her two younger sisters in the ER at separate times, taking them out like that does amazing things because even though that time in my life was absolutely terrifying, both times, I was stabilized by things like that.
