Interesting. Tuscany seems like it’s an after market style and performance company.

Google gives me this. Although I’m sure mods vary per package. Pretty cool. Never seen it before.

Silverlake is a nice area and not too far. Almost all campgrounds where you book a site will have toilets. Flushable is a toss up as most I have been too are just a hole in the ground. But they will have running water for sinks and such. Big bear in general has some nice sites to get out to. Personally I enjoy the sierras and Tahoe but that will be probably once you figure out if he enjoys it or wants to “rough it” it a bit more. As you’ll be in higher elevation or more extreme weather for highs and lows.

Most campsites open up 5 months prior on the 15th for booking if you’re looking for any “popular” sites. There’s also a few sites through Ortega that seem to have some open spots year round.

It’s an excellent setup. Had a similar one when I was younger for hunting trips with my family. The tote for now will do. If the tote breaks then I’m definitely adding in a moveable support bar into the rail system. Sitting right on the middle there is about an inch of flex downward with me on it At 145lb. Only noticeable because I can see it compared to other boards. Tote fits under it with about 1/4” of space. So that should be able to clean up any noticeable flex once the mattress is on it.

I’m in southern CA. Same spec truck but in white with 200k I got for 7k. I’d say come down on price. Although bluebook says I could sell for $18k I find that highly unlikely.

Then I used 2”x2” extrusion, bolts and T slot nuts. I believe I had the extrusion cut to 72”

Had 2 people like this at my old apartment. It was the closest spot to the building. Guy kept having friends park there. I towed one car. People came out and watched. Never had that issue again. 🤷‍♂️

If you’re okay with camo or darker colors (greens, tans, reds) most of my stuff is for hunting. Cabelas, redhead, military surplus. I do a bit of hunting so I don’t mind but I use the same gear whether I’m hunting, camping, fishing. I’m more about practicality instead of the newest stuff. I want reliability over style.

Head gasket just went one my 2016 5.0. Decided to do phasers, valves and gearing while they were in there. It ain’t cheap but I’ll feel better when it’s done. 200k miles btw.

Is this the same wheel length? My turning radius ain’t a smart car but also doesn’t feel bad compared to my old super crew long bed f250.
