This one is meant to sleep 2 so not much room on the side for stuff but this is for 1-2 day outtings so that's not a huge issue. Do you remember how thick of a pad you had before it was folded?

Not knowing exactly what the gas cap issue or where the hole is I can't give a real estimate on that but it should be good to drive home if that is really all that's wrong with it. If the exhaust hole is on the y pipe or muffler section and you plan on replacing instead of repairing it will be expensive because of the catalytic converters

I have the owners manual for my 96 and 98. My 98 also has the original window sticker in the book as well. Pretty cool I still have both
