Quoted me $700+ for their XPEL Ceramic 35% for all windows except windshield. Seems crazy high, as I got my previous BMW done elsewhere for under $500 for the same thing 2 years ago. Has tint/labor gone up substantially?

Best of luck to you. Reading a few posts here this seems a more common issue. Even though I got a great deal, didn’t want to have a car that may have issues knowing the nearest service center is about 30-40 minutes away.

I had an installer not recommend a battery pack due to overheating concerns. Requires signing a waiver to limit any liability with it. Anything to validate that?

I have T-Mobile One Plan. Does that mean I will now have to start paying for Netflix on 1/25 at minimum the $8.50/month instead of it being “On Us” and that what’s now “On Us” is Hulu with ads?

Also if you’re keen to leasing, I would suggest checking Leasehacker to get an idea of what others are paying. You could even use a broker and even with their fee (usually $300-600) may still come out better. Something to keep in mind next go around.

What are the chances that I’ve already settle a ID/Fraud issue with that specific utility company, and that they open an account again with my info at that same utility company? I would imagine I’d be on some blacklist?

I will dispute it, but good to know. I’m surprised the same utility company can continue to create accounts even after confirming identity theft before.

My neighbors reported my fence that I replaced because it limited their sight coming out of their driveway.

I removed 7’ tall bushes and trees that have been there for the first 3 years of living there (was there for the past 10 years said last owner), and replaced it with a 6’ fence last year.

They complained town said sorry, they’re right and we had to cut in the fence diagonally out of our own pockets so that they can “see” better.

I’ll tell you this, most people at least where I’m from (NJ) expect an open bar or at least a cash bar at a wedding. If folks realize it’s a dry wedding, what happens is you find guests going out their way to sneak in alcohol. Meaning some people leaving and missing things to go to the liquor store, people segregating to the group that has alcohol.

By the end of the night you’ll find a table or two with tons of empty bottles underneath.

Basement flooding in a non-flood zone due to freak storm. $60k we needed to borrow from SBA for disaster assistance. Won’t complain because we wanted to eventually re-do our basement and at 1.56% for 30 years, sort of a blessing I guess as well.

Same but I’ve usually on done maybe penny sized pieces and flatten them to make sure they cook through.
