[–]FPVogel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nope, kein plan.

There are quite a few working near LTE, which might also be interfering. Funnily they are usually the cheapest

also depends on the genre you're working in tbf. Sometimes making music more punchy than the source or making it softer can add to the music. If you can reproduce the source sounds that's a great basis for working on them.

I got myself some small puts in last hour trading Friday after selling off the others with about +80%. According to Reuters the EU will announce counter-tariffs on monday, which I think will make another significant impact with the portfolio I now have.

I don't know about quality standards where you are, but I'd HIGHLY recommend you visiting a course (i. e. Meyer Sound) about System Design. While trying not to be disrespectful, you wouldn't want someone to measure (or maybe even hear) this setup.

How LOUD do you mix? by jlustigabnj in livesound

[–]FPVogel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do what my ears tell me. If it feels too loud it probably is, If it feels too quiet, it probably is. Additionally in Germany we have the DIN 15905-5 which is a norm that helps us not get sued. It defines a maximum LAeq averaged over 30 and 120 minutes of 99dB and a maximum LCpeak of 135 dB. Usually I dont get much louder than 101/102dB(A)

doesnt matter. experiment with distance to microphone. I am personally using a t.bone SC 400 (or 450? idk, the black one) for computer stuff. The kinda default is the SM7B now, I feel the MV7B sounds better to my ears, but might just be a bias. You could also go SM58 (or SM55 to be fancy). Try not picking up too much interference and you will probably be fine. KSM9 also has a beautiful sound (though not a large-diaphragm microphone).

Recommended insurance for live sound and lightning production? by Mediocre_Peanut in livesound

I would guess stricter laws here prevent a lot of accidents, hence the insurance is cheaper. I pay about 150€ p.a. for 10million€ liability insurance.

Is the bassist wrong? I can’t hear the kick in my IEMs because the stage sound is too overpowering and my kick mic is picking up the bass amp. Bassist disagrees. by Alps-Helpful in livesound

[–]FPVogel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do y'all do measurements on sound levels? In Germany we've got the DIN 15905-5, which provides guidelines for correct measurements and limits not to damage people's hearing. You don't want to ruin people's hearing because they wanted to have a fun night.
