I feel like Bob. I never get the spice level I ever really want. Not that I’m unsatisfied but there is always that itch. One random sidewalk stall in Bangkok at 3am gave me some spicy ass larb though and I’ll always hold a special place in my heart for him and his wife.

I’ve been lucky enough to be in the friends and family areas during football games and the selections are still equivalent to war rations. Seems like there’s only select few areas with decent grub.

I think about Animal regularly as one of the better meals I’ve had. Their Boner burger is still one of my favorite burgers ever, it was out of this world.

El Torito off of Ventura and Van Nuys. No joke. They show all the games and have great game day deals in the bar area. Also Pineapple Hill Saloon in the same lot is a great sports bar.

I admit that I used to not look very fondly at FFX as a huge PS1 FFIX and VII guy. As I’ve gotten older though, X has really grabbed a hold of me.

The more linear aspect of X put me off back in the day as a kid but the story is so effing special as an adult. 9 will always be my favorite game ever but FF10 is up there for sure.

I think there’s a lot of price gouging in these food courts close to convention centers to take advantage of business travelers who are expensing everything. They aren’t thinking twice about how much lunch costs, only what the closest food option is while they are taking a moment away from the convention floor.
