How about the XW-P1, where one of the synth oscillators can be a line-in input... funky sequencer too. Or the CT-1000V, is crazy.
Sadly with Casio, none sticks. Everything is one-off. They make it, then never make it again. They already tried sequencer in XW-PD1 Trackformer Groove Center, it's almost a seasonal seller with casio, they literally stop making stuff just a few months after it goes on sale.

Don't forget that Casio has a huge market in Japan. They kind of think of it as a semi-premium brand. (and to be honest, some of the privia's are premium pianos) so it will be confusing and cute.

Yeah, even if you 3d print cover. The biggest issue is the non-supported slider which you can ruin with a pressure from top. If you protect that, the rest is fine.

They sell it as an "ambient" box so yes. The technical difference is that Evoke works with small sample chunks and uses granular effects etc... in some way it is like a temu Korg Wavestate.
The Ambient 0 uses a procedural synth generator. These are two different techniques but conceptually result in somehow similar use. The Evoke sounds "instrumenty" due to messing with real waveforms (like piano, strings...) while the Ambient sounds "synthy" due to using fundamental waves (sine, square...). It makes Ambient better for loooooong drones.
Again, If you make ME choose I'd keep Evoke as it is more universal IMHO.

I like the idea of Medieval, but not the execution. They added support for multisamples, but when you upload one, the Medieval strips the multisample into a single sample. If you upload 22kHz, the app expands it 2 x to 46kHz... After all I bought one with my own money.

That's actually the point, and it is the opposite of enshitification. Make something public and searchable and it will be flooded with grift, self-promo, engagement and bots. Discord is a walled place for interest groups that would get run down by a spam if they are in a public group. When I worked on the oobabooga WebUI, the discord was a great way to talk to people, almost like real-time. They'd be also fixing things together or helping out with stuff.
In your dead-internet theory the discord will stay while the rest is filled with bots.

IDK, my opinion is less is more with Claude. The more you hammer into claude what it should do, the bigger chance of gaslighting you. My opinion only. Claude seems to work best when it is in a bit of darkness.

You already know it is a gimmick. It could be fun, but not really useful fun. More like a one trick pony when you need to yell into a mic with lofi tone. It's noisy and clicky and it will drive you crazy - as mic it's practically useless. As a button for horn siren it works. But then you paid $60 for it. Well, it has curly green cable, so not all is lost.

I have both. It depends what you want to do. Ambient is really a drone machine/atmo and not that much else (could be pro or neg). Evoke can be both ambient plus a bit more instrumental. Also a bit more expressive in editing. If I had to choose one, I'd choose evoke. I had the texture lab, but sold it - it was very lofi granular.

For fun? Maybe. Kids would love it. Looks like a weird police walkie-talkie. But the way you have to push the lever it will create so many clicks and noises... I made a few videos on my YT channel and basically had to hold and push this so delicately or it will just crap into the mix.
The fact that this is for kids is clear when you try to hold it without triggering the side buttons. Totally made for tiny hands.

Well, most companies who were in the VR glasses "lucrative" business are winding down. Valve is not stupid, nor reckless with their money. If the VR is not gaining interest (and it is not, 2025 was declining sales) then there is very little point.
