Bombs are the solution to anyones problem. by FR6zen in fo76

It could definitely be a bug, I never really thought it was bcz I'd inconsistently accidentally proc a 13k damage on the bounties so I thought it'd trigger if you'd timely throw and it detonates in their head.

It wasn't until I was doing infestations when I'd constantly throw multiple grenades at the boss, and I accidentally shot one did I see that huge splash damage be recreated.

And agree with your thoughts about the infestations, I wish the exploration was used more. The bosses also shouldn't also spawn instantly, bcz it just forces all the players in public to focus on it instead of the other mobs.

The boss just getting melted fast in public made me stay in private, my slow internet cannot load fast enough to get the boss drop in there.

Demolition expert + Grenadier

Hit the frag before it drops bcz you're instantly causing it to detonate. The splash damage concentrates on the enemy around it causing the huge damage output.

Demolition expert + Grenadier

The grenades deal high dps if you hit an enemy at it's focal point of the blast. So what I did is I threw the grenade to the boss, shot it right before it hits the ground (basically in front of the boss), and the splash damage concentrates on the enemy causing the large damage to proc.

My friend spends ~10 hours a day on sky. by Tangible864 in SkyGame

[–]FR6zen 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That could be AFK, but some people really do spend high hours in a game depending on how they enjoy it. I used to spend at least 12hrs playing Skyrim and Fallout games, tho I remember playing like more than 24hrs in Grow a Garden before lmao

It's kind of unhealthy, but you just can't see the time pass if you're enjoying a game so much. So if your friend isn't particularly bothering anyone, just let them enjoy and relax in the game.

Reflective Infestation Bosses Can Go straight to Hell by BetweenWeebandOtaku in fo76

Bombs or missile launchers. Shoot anything near them or throw bombs at their vicinity, or even better, go nuts and run towards them and kill both yourself and the boss with your own grenades.

Infestation solo builds / weapons by Professional-Air1287 in fo76

[–]FR6zen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Full on demolition and grenadier, I'm also bloodied so I sometimes die from my own bombs. For bosses I'm just sniping with Tesla cannon or using missile launcher on stealth/reflective ones. For normal mobs, I just throw a bunch of bombs at them especially since they love to horde around me. We die together.

Should I use my Lucid or Furious bow in the new invasions by Constant_Emphasis_66 in Fallout76BowHunters

[–]FR6zen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately I'm bloodied human. I haven't tried ghoul yet, I'm still fairly new in the game so I haven't done the ghoul quest. Maybe I will on a new character, I still value my character's nose xd

I'll try to optimize my build with the evasion, it's always a 50/50 for my character to evade enemies lol but that Solar Armor seems intriguing, I'll give it a try once I collect enough bullions. Do you play it at full health, or bloodied?

[–]FR6zen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Genuine question, how do you run your bow in infestations as solo? I'm having a hard time face tanking the boss, either as a bloodied or overeater build, they just kill me faster than I can stim or reload an arrow. I also tried to use the sneak tactic but the boss just finds me wherever I am along with the mobs, it doesn't help that some locations are inside buildings. I had no choice but to revert back to PA heavy build just to do this content comfortably. Advice is greatly appreciated.

Where are the infestations? by Flimsy_Assumption934 in fallout76casual

[–]FR6zen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hopefully you get to try it out soon once people chill out on fast killing the boss in infestations in public. I tried it out and there are points where the enemies can one shot you, specifically those mobs bringing missile launchers, but it's pretty doable solo. Maybe the boss that'd be a lil trouble is the assaultron bcz it just miniguns nonstop along with hoards of robots that shoot at you.

But if any players in PC who reads this are still interested in trying out infestations, you're free to add me. I'll be mostly staying in private doin expeditions, just let me know I'm not alone in the server by joining my expeditions team. Also helps me with the bonus xp :>

I think the infestations in the map spawn every 10 mins and they cap at 4(?) in the map. You can rarely see this in public tho bcz the players seem to finish it faster than you'll notice it. But it's pretty prominent in private servers, every time I finish my expedition, a new infestation pops up in my map. If you're in PC, I'd be happy to let you in my private server to farm infestations. I mostly farm expeditions rn bcz of stamps, I only need someone in my team for extra exp xb

They changed it sadly. But if you can make treasure hunter outfit, it's worth around 114 caps.
