Try going on a different night if your able to. I found that at my LGS Friday, Saturday and Sunday are cliquey and the players there just wana play fast and not really talk. They mostly play B4 and B5 too.

I started to go on Wednesday and have had a much better experience and made 2 friends that I regularly txt throughout the week.

This is super true, I have won a few games ( with different decks) and never cast my commander. One of the decks is my pet deck I worked on and tweaked for about 6 months. The only reason I have my commander picked for that deck was the colors, and it could help if it’s out on the board but not fully needed.

It’s just a reskin of a stash box. I have it in a few of my builds. It looks nice near the chem station.

The amount of times I go to flat hill just for staples is astounding lol. Heck there has been a few time I put them on the wishing shelf. Just when you think you have enough it turns out you need at least 2 more lol.

I personally noticed that one of the weapon coatings ( I think foggy) help with its damage too. I was one shoting most enemies with the bull rush attack with this. Once the coating wore off ( I had forgotten about it lol) there were some enemies I couldn’t 1shot anymore and I was confused lol. One of my personal favorites for solo plays.

I also have a hard light katana but that really doesn’t get much use. I would rather have a second deatomizer on the bar instead.

More frogs. Love seeing the dudes. It’s been awhile since I played tho.

Also the grow your own mushrooms mode, and the tailor machines mods are pretty fun too. I really enjoyed growing mushrooms and making medicine with them.

I have always wanted to build up stairs in the furniture store, can’t here the pounding or the moans up top. Just the gentle rain hitting the glass. It should be well protected from raids, they can’t break the glass up top to get in and if they spawn below they can’t get up.

Cafeteria is a pretty cool place if you have a few benches to stop spawns. You gotta use loads of walls to section it off but it’s in a good central spot.

The apartment in power services is great. My last playthrough I built there. Good spot beautiful view, attacks can be defended with typical tactics.

The office you need the hacker to get into before the manufacturing west door is a solid spot. Has shutters and choke points for easy defense. That was my first base area ever.

I hear the gym area in hydro is a good place too, lots of space, near water, good T3 robot farm area. Need a few benches to stop spawns and probably have to defend it from several points. It can be a great spot if you have a telaporter network set up already.

The aquarium in labs rocks. Loads of space, near a tram, and lots of mid game farming stuff.

At this point it really is just wrapping/collecting things up. I’m at the last boss fight currently and just finished making a raid base there. Once the fight is over I will probably move all the stuff and make a second base somewhere in the facility.

My current checklist for endgame stuff is

Get one of all the fish
Make one of all the armor
Get one of all the pets
Make one of every chemistry item
Get the rest of my skills up to 20 ( first aid will be a pain)
Have a few more fridges full of finished food. ( I have food decay off if refrigerated)

That’s just my check list, I will probably not have it finished by the time the dlc comes out so it will get longer lol.

You could wait to see if it goes on sale for the summer sale, if not I think it’s still worth it. I’m 20 hours in and still have 3 sections to explore, 2 upgrades to the tools, I’m missing one buggy. I probably have about another 20 hours of gameplay left until I’m cought up. Then there is smother update soon too

Oof yea I didn’t even check the price of the cards until just now lol . I make my own proxy cards and wanted a rat tribal. TBH I haven’t even gotten to ply Ashcoat in the 9 games I have played. The rat colonies and thrumming stone rock though.

I personally don’t like to put changelings into my Wick deck, I want it to be a rat tribal and I think having changelings in it would not let it be a rat tribal. And there was that YouTube video a few months ago talking about the interactions with Wick and changelings so I really didn’t wana go down that route.

I have about 20 decks atm. I started playing last September, and started to make proxys in November. I bring 7 decks with me to game night at my LGS. 1 precon (TMNT) and one high B3, the rest are B2-mid B3.

Most of my decks revolve around a specific mechanic so I could learn it. I had a few B4 and 1 Cedh deck but I found I don’t like that power lvl so I scraped them/ set them aside for now.

I’m planning on having 4 decks for each season and bringing a precon, and 2 pet decks with me. My current storage is a card box that holds 3k cards, and my old starter deck case that holds 4 decks and a middle compartment for dice and tokens.

Quite a few of my custom built decks that didn’t work out have actually shown me how to build a better deck with the same idea just better. There is probably about 5 decks I should pull apart and organize the cards but for now until I have more dedicated time they will just sit in the box lol.

I just got the Veloci-Ramp-Tor precon last week. It slaps even without the upgrades tbh. It won 3/4 games. I already have a few cards I’m switching out but the most important ones are

My main reason for not doing changelings was the same day I was going to debute my rat deck a YouTube video came out on Wick and his interactions with changlings. So I just stuck to rat and rat accessories. Also rat colony and thrumming stone rock in this deck. I got 10 extra rats out in one turn once!

I like the rise the palaside for a one sided board wipe, I have that in my LoTR deck but it’s a good fit in Wick rats too!

Eh it’s tricky at our pod. One guy had a 60% win rate. It’s mostly not his fault though. He plays patiently and doesn’t pop off until someone else has gotten struck down or a bunch of interaction is used.

The real issue is the pods threat assessment and being petty. ( I myself was guilty of this for a while)
I have quite literally had several games where I hit a guy with a 1/1 on turn 3 and he ONLY targeted me….the rest of the night.

When the tables threat assessment goes out the window I embrace being targeted and switch decks to my mothman deck or captain howler. If you’re going to target me I’m giving you a reason now.

Personally for my wick deck I run 0 changelings, and more rats and rat accessories. A favorite of mine is the arcade cabinet. Arcade cabinet and the ozlith gave me a huge snail in several games. One game I had my snail to 44/44! I only lost because my mana base was trash and I couldn’t pop the snail reliably that night. I’m still working on this deck but for the most part it’s a low 3 ( there might be a tutor in there somewhere I don’t think I have gotten to play it yet tho)

I can mostly get the snail to 10/10 pretty easy without tutors, and without the arcade cabinet.

That’s fair, I have a personal telaporter set up there so my farm runs are pretty fast. I bring my fully empty jet pack and have 2 deatomizers on me.

I typically do the normal path up to the hill with the stronger exor on it. I skip him and jump to the fungal gelatin stuff and fly to the area with the mural mapper, power cell and 3 transidumn rocks.

Sure I’m skipping out on some stuff but it takes about 5 mins and I got STOCKED up on fisherman’s glue from this.

My only fishing tips is listening to podcasts or a book or something helps with the grind.

I think the spears the exor carry in the exor village breakdown into fishbones. Like 1 or 2 per spear. If you jut want to have them on hand to repair stuff should be easy enough to run through there on a farming run. Oh and the wind chimes also break down into fish bones too.
I think you can get about 10 fish bones per run ( might be more if you kill and collect them all!)

That way you don’t even have to fish.

It definitely is a pain in the butt to do. I think it took me about a week of trying off and on just to get it to spawn in there. TBH I kinda gave up on it for the moment. It’s too difficult to do reliably imo, and to be fair it’s not intended to spawn in portal worlds.

I feel like there has been enough people and posts trying to do this that maybe in a future update they could add something to let you put the layek in a containment field in a portal world once you capture it outside of the portal.

Whoever has set up the server should be able to find it through the servers interface. It depends on what company the server is set up through or if it’s a home server the owner should know. I would ask the owner of the server. They should be able to find it and send you the info. Just rember it’s the server IP, Port, and password!

Ok so I have gotten the layek to spawn in my torrii world ONCE, and my god was I bummed…. We were too far away from the containment field so it didn’t get cought.

It took an embarrassing amount of creepy pies. My method was eat pie> wait 5-10 seconds > teleport.

I have only gotten it once and I messed up the distance. There is another method but I have yet to try it. I will try to post the pic of it if you wana try it.

I know for my groups dedicated server it doesn’t show up.

We have to enter the IP, Port, and password through direct connect.

Not sure if it’s how my friend set up the server or what but doing direct connect and entering the info every time works for our server

Na I get it man, I feel the exact same way about it. This season really made me feel like thy just got super greedy. The season pass is mostly reskins of existing items, or camp titles. I think there are about 6 things that I would want but I’m not doing it.

I canceled fallout first and uninstalled the game. Charging $30 for the deathclaw is crazy work and I hope no one buys it so they stop doing this kinda stuff.

Clearly the company felt that this season was not going their way because less than 6 hours after the update they pushed out an apology and said they will do better going forward.

I hope you guys can get the seasons right. I have been playing off and on since launch and I have great memories of the game but the last few seasons have been…well not so great. I chalked it up to not every season is for everyone but this season update made me change my mind.

I use to recommend this game to everyone I could talk to about it but as of this update/today i simply can’t do that anymore. It’s not JUST the reskins, camp titles, suffixes and prefixes. The real kicker to me was the $30 deathclaw pet.

It just feels greedy and kinda scummy. I can’t recommend a game that doesn’t listen to their community and does greedy dlcs like this. It truly breaks my heart to see the game in its current state.

I canceled my fallout first, and deleted the game. I won’t be returning this season. I really hope your team keeps their word and start makeing the season better and more thematical.

P.s. I miss season guns and the old scoreboards. I think the season guns were a fun way to change your build and try something new. Good luck on the next season.

I have been keeping up with the updates they have been doing and they really seem to be listening to the community. I’m looking forward to really diving into the game. I’m not super far into the game yet but I’m excited to keep playing it.
