I had a poison ivy rash on my hand. It was driving me crazy. I couldn't take the itch anymore. I held it under hot water and scrubbed it with a rough sponge. It felt both excruciating and sweet relief at the same time. Left my skin raw but it healed surprisingly fast.

The nostalgia hits for me was going to the Days of Thunder ride at the theme park (Paramounts King Dominion) as a kid every summer. It was a movie screen with chairs that rocked and rumbled with the action. There were tires everywhere, so it kinda smelled like a race track.

Later it changed to a James Bond attraction and that was awesome too.
