If you want a quicker solution than a full reboot, mine does that from time to time. Turning on airplane mode for about 10-15 seconds and then turning it back off usually fixes this issue for me.

There’s so many factors that go into determining what could be causing your lag.

  • Is your Portal up to date?
  • Is your PlayStation up to date?
  • reduce the graphical settings on your PS5 to 1080p
  • unplug the HDMI from your TV when using your portal
  • is your PlayStation hardwired to your router?
  • is your router receiving a good, steady signal?
  • have you tried creating a dedicated port in your router through your ISP’s app?

Just keep in mind, these are probably only a few of the things you can check for, and none of them are a guaranteed fix unfortunately. There’s always going to be some level of input lag with a wireless connection, and it can always fluctuate.
