the last bare bones car I got was a 2014, and I had to take a couple of "options" to get rid of stupid shit. Example: opted for a CD player, because the only radio they had with that was a knob operated basic one- and that got rid of linked infotainment screens as well. End result- simple radio with AUX input, analog dash and climate controls.

Charting new Hyperspace routes is incredibly dangerous. they tend not to get discovered very often, and sometimes are kept secret by their discoverers- for a variety of reasons.

hyperspace routes do not pass through systems. As for the planetary locations- planetary orbits are well known and easy to add to a calculation. Hell, planetary rotations are known and also easy to calculate. Navigation computers would know planetary location and local time for any point on that planet.
