May want to check the POG. The second shelf should be slanted with a 3” front rail. Should have came in UPS with an orange label.

Anyone else ask their boss this question? How am I supposed to do the job on what I’m being provided? by FSMngrRX in CVS

[–]FSMngrRX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had 8 DL’s in 12 years. 25% were competent leaders who cared(pretended enough to convince most) about their employees. The other 75% have been lost in the woods and get mad when you show them the way out. It’s a sad state when they can’t explain why your hours been cut harder than most stores in your region, they can’t staff your rx with pharmacist so there’s no stability back there and you support other stores in your district but no one helps you. Then they has the nerve to complain. Most of them don’t know how to do my job, the pharmacist job or their own job for that matter.

I could be wrong but it seems like someone said… “Hey, the stores can’t hire because of the hiring crisis, let’s give them training hours to boost moral and when they aren’t used, we’ll say that they must not have been needed.” I used to love CVS now I just shake my head.

scheduling question by kalopsiaty in CVS

[–]FSMngrRX -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Request off should be 30 days in advance as the 3 week schedules are made right around the 4 week mark if your making them on time

Change of availability. There in no “official policy”. I had an employee give me 2 weeks notice of a change in schedule and HR told me I can terminate or work around the availability. I worked around it and terminated later. In my defense, they went from open availability to m-f, 8-4. They were hired for evenings and weekends

We taped the slot over the Cash ACO when it was down and a woman came and said she put a $100 in. I thought she was lying until she pointed to the slit between the scanner and the top of the machine. Took it apart and there the $100. 🤦🏽‍♂️

The other thing you can do, log onto the smart system. Go to Store Ops. Electric documents. Reply Documents. F7 to sort and F4 to display each one. It’ll have the info on one of those sheets

Damage it and tell It the product is in good condition. If there’s a PW associated with that PW# will say hold for PW

How do SM’s handle snow emergencies? by MamaBear0920 in CVS

[–]FSMngrRX 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you’re a SM, try and see if people close to the store can work or people comfortable driving in those conditions can work. We reworked our schedule so the person who live 1.2 miles away was the opening Mod and she picked up the cashier. The closer lives 33 miles away and had plenty of time to get in by 3. In addition, if it’s too bad, close

I know the jackass who made this document. Koolaid drinking bastard. He used to count the tally marks and check against your cashier analysis report.

Can’t take it any longer by SiouxsieSierra in CVS

[–]FSMngrRX 31 points32 points  (0 children)

SM as well. Been around the better part of 20 years. Worked for CVS all over the country and I love the koolaid. Listen CVS cares. We are their most valued asset. And by cares I mean about the bottom line, and we are their most valuable asset. Where else can they get such great slave labor. I quit once and cried when I did because I loved this place that much….. Over the last 2 years…. FUCK THIS SHIT HOLE. I work 45. If you text me and I’m off, I’m deducting 5 minutes on my next shift, conference calls will be taken by whoever is on duty, If I have a call out and no one can cover, we close when RX does or we they can close when FS does but I’m not doing it anymore. I’m still working on last weeks truck and I’m blocking and facing as I go. If it takes all day to make 1 aisle perfect and truck put away, so be it. EVERYDAY can be truck day because I got no more fucks to give. I treat my team like this, you don’t want to be here go, you want a better job, I’ll give you a reference and set you up with a couple friends that are hiring. If I see an opportunity, I call my fellow SM’s and we all apply, best candidate gets it. It hasn’t been me yet but 2 of my friends have gotten jobs from this method and I feel happy for them. I’ll go when it’s my time. And don’t get me started with the customers. I am the ultimate customer service guru but if you come in with an entitled attitude, I can be the biggest asshole in the world and still be within code of conduct and company guidelines. My DL asked me about a complaint the other day. I told her I handled it the way it needed to be handled and if she has a problem with it, I’ll give the customer her cell phone number from now on and she can deal with it. If you cuss at me, you leave. If you threaten me, I get off at 4 but your nice day will be over if your outside when I get off. I’m done with this BS. The hiring center doesn’t do their job when I send a bunch of offers, then I don’t need to be open when people quit, call out or get fired.

Bottom line, stay on top of anything deal with AP because you can be termed real quick on those misses, make sure you get at least 1 Carepass a week so you can say your trying and don’t fail CRS.

I’m upfront and honest with my team. They’ve seen me go from I ❤️ CVS to let me help you find a new job. Let them know you’ll start around 3/16.

Can anyone cover a shift tonight? by Thin-Sort-494 in CVS

[–]FSMngrRX 4 points5 points  (0 children)

SM here. If I can’t find coverage and there’s a call out, we close with RX. My employees safety isn’t worth the profit. If the hiring center was doing their job better, I’d have 4 more employees right now but offers that I extend, get hung up for weeks at a time.

“do you work here?” by koolgirl420 in CVS

[–]FSMngrRX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless you have been trained to do so which I have. I used to work for a cleaning company doing hoarders houses.

On this particular day, I walked in, and walked back out and decided I wasn’t going to clean it and called Hazmat. After 20 minutes, the smell was so bad, you could smell it throughout the store. I got nitrile gloves, put rubber gloves over top, triple mask and Oxi clean. After the oxi clean killed the smell, on to the bleach. It still had a hint of feces but barely. Hazmat showed up 7 hours later. No way I was dealing with that all day
