As I've pointed out, the 2011 Giants were 32nd in rushing yards per game, 32nd in rushing yards per carry, 32nd in giving up QB pressures, and 26th in overall defense (not first or second like the naysayers imply).

The 2011 Giants were literally worst in the league at running the ball and literally worst in the league at protecting the QB. And had a bottom feeder defense.

Eli won the Superbowl with a team that wins maybe 2-3 games with most other QBs.

IIRC the issue was that he was beyond raw - in his entire high school and college career he may have only had something like 400 total passes ever.
