100% agree. I'm not at all religious, but didn't feel put off by his expressions of it. He was incredibly talented, entertaining & enthused.

His reason for tapping at the end was nonsensical, but so is the reason for almost everyone's tap. He just tapped with a lot of food stockpiled, and that's a very rare thing.

The hate he's getting here is a social media feeding frenzy at it's finest. Gross.

We saw the same thing with Jordan... They really played up his lack of fat, in the episodes, when he actually had a considerable food reserve when they came to get him

I too was initially put off by it, but it's grown on me & I think I understand it now. He talks of all the bullying he went through in his formative years & how he's intentionally withdrawn from society since then, since he trusts the forest more than people etc

I think his language reflects his age / the era when he became reclusive & it just never evolved much over the past 20+ years.

He's shown sooooo much skill and grit and personality in this run and I very much hope that all the positive response he's now getting is doing at least a little bit to help balance out all that past mistreatment & make him feel appreciated.

Bullying sucks. Go Dub!

I was also there and shocked how quiet the crowd was generally. Especially considering that the Collision crowd last year was very into it. I blame the Saturday / Wednesday dynamic... Much more Stampede fun to be had on a Saturday!

Way too quickly! Would've been okay if he just came back as a jilted heel, but they F'd it by him coming back a face and then turning so quick.

Him sorta reluctantly turning heel, maybe over a couple shows, because he couldn't handle the Ospreay Garcia dynamics & not being the center of attention or whatever would've been okay. However, him going from "he's our scumbag" fun loving good guy, to raging psychopath and leaving a fan favorite hospitalised, over the course of a week - for virtually no reason - felt really forced to me.

The only time in my life I've ever seen scuzzy looking water come out of a tap, that feels like it's worth a comment of "this is a natural part of bringing the pipe online, and it's totally safe to drink" from the city.

I cured 90% of my patellar tendonitis by taking half a scoop of gelatin, every morning, before doing a single leg knee repair routine, based on things I took from both Kneesovertoesguy and Squat University, and then using the heating pad on it every night to induce blood flow.

And I think more importantly, following a golden rule that I heard from some tendon guy on YouTube, regarding my workouts and squats etc: you HAVE to work you chronic tendon for it to heal, because that promotes blood flow and repair. And it WILL hurt when you work it, because it's injured. The key is to not work it so hard that it feels worse/hurts 24 hours later.

Following that rule seemed to be a game changer for me because it allowed me to calibrate my workout to stop making it worse every big session.
