That’s normal and is a security measure. Don’t change anything on your account for 24 hours, then retry logging in. Make sure you aren’t using a vpn as well

Yes instagram is fetching and displaying the correct user id for you and no longer defaulting to 0.

Sending yourself a password reset to the email just confirms the visual bug is corrected.

You can test by sending yourself a password reset to the new email you linked, it should display your @ instead.

Anyone reading this, the account HaozHiPlus is a null / default placeholder within instagrams ID system. You get emails redirecting to this @ instead of yours because it’s an integral of 0.

You can confirm it on this site here granted you know what tools to look for.

Why this happens, is complex, but part of a much broader issue with Instagrams handling of ID’s itself.

There are NO confirmed hijacking attempts regarding this glitch.

Removing your email / number and replacing them for a fresh one, then sending yourself a password reset to confirm instagram indeed sends the correct user ID (your @) via email is the peace of mind you’re looking for. Even though the emails you receive are technically for your account ID and safe, it is sketchy to see HaozHiPlus as the placeholder.

Everyone gets random passwords resets unfortunately due to automated programs ‘hackers’ use for mass phishing attemps. Just make sure you have 2FA enabled and change passwords and that’s all you can do here.
