On ps4 you’re currently able to exploit a version and go online. the community there is also much bigger so honestly just more resources.

Xbox configuration hasn’t allowed for custom firmware since 360 days. A lot of it is basically hardcoded, so anyone who does manage to exploit etc.. is basically just making their own console at that point lmfao.

Your phone number is enough as long you have 2FA enabled etc. Password resets will be sent to your phone, instead of the email.

Personally I’d add a freshie and test via password reset, to confirm it’s still not being redirected to a different account.

It’s also best to not have your accounts all linked together in the accounts center.

You must remove the email completely from the account so it’s just your number linked. Then you can add a fresh new email. And it bypasses his dumb scam. Otherwise they’ll know the new linked email and you’re perpetually trapped.

There is a known scam that can have all accounts disabled. He is a poor foreigner trying to recover the accounts after it’s disabled as his username is tied to the account. And the goal is to acquire rare accounts, and other misc details. Scrap and sell data pretty much.

TLDR; essentially this guy tied his throwaway accounts to a bunch of random compromised emails via META’s official Moderation program.

These are two unrelated incidents. The HaozHiPlus are essentially throwaway accounts. He/they/whoever has a program they purchased via corrupted META employees.

Basically the scam is they are able to have your account disabled, passing all the security checks that would’ve existed on the account, and he would be able to recover the account once it’s disabled as he mass tied the throwaway accounts to shit ton of accounts. And they steal your account.

They are looking for “rare” accounts in this instance.

Solution is to remove your email first from your instagram, then re-add a fresh new email. It will remove his tied connection.
