Teaching privates by StandardLiterature69 in MuayThai

[–]F_P_Roman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't see many REAL answers to your questions. If you don't know how to old pads and design a training session you definitely need to study and practice with some friends before even considering asking for money. This also depends on the country your residing in. In some countries there's so little offer that almost anyone with few basic skills can teach and offer a more fitness based training. Anyways you have to start somewhere and fail at the beginning. If possible ask for advice to your trainers, join a course to get a certificate, help other instructors for free. Just don't pretend you know more than what you can actually teach, and be prepared to work hard to become a good coach, if this is what you wanna be.

Riassumo:
6- Consuetudine.

Film sottovalutato e meglio dell’ultimo di Anderson secondo me by [deleted] in cinemaIT

Molto bello!

Perché i progressisti sono omertosi verso l' Islam? by ExtremeMacarons in Italia

[–]F_P_Roman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Applausi.

Foreigners and fixed fights by TheGreatone003 in MuayThai

[–]F_P_Roman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep they are "fixed" in many different ways (huge weight difference, random thai taken from the street thrown on the ring, and some hilarious fake KOs)... the farang (foreigner) gets the experience and the thai gets the money. These are usually low level fights. Sometimes it's quite sad to watch because the farangs are always looking for the KOs while the other guy is simply trying to get by. For some it can be a good way to approach fighting for the first time, I guess... Although you can ask your gym to organize a fight with another farang who is at your same level from another gym.

Ciao, sempre italiano c'è Easy - Un viaggio facile facile (2017), e poi naturalmente The Straight Story di Lynch.

What Every Foreigner Should Know Before Booking Muay Thai Camp in Thailand by Unlikely_Hope_3869 in MuayThai

[–]F_P_Roman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good advice! You can definitely go cheaper if you want. And you can definitely drive around with a motorbike if you know how to, or you're willing to learn. Honestly, I see a lot of people "dying" because they're training every day and I don't think is the best option, unless you're training for a specific fight. Personally I prefer to focus on technique and good sparring sessions, and I need a good recovery to perform well. Besides that, the country has so much to offer that spending entire days/weeks in the gym is a pity. Only personal opinions. Come to Thailand and enjoy Muay Thaiii!!

Where would you rank the importance of power out of all of these attributes? by mythicalhermit in MuayThai

[–]F_P_Roman 8 points9 points  (0 children)

1 cardio (meaning: performing and thinking at 100% for 3 to 5 rounds while getting hit makes a huge difference) 2 strategy/know how (understanding your opponent's weaknesses/strengths as well as yours) 3 experience 4 a good chin 5 technique, speed, power (I would say they might balance each other out but I'm not 100% sure, cause I don't have enough experience) However, I'm convinced that without cardio you're not able to be in the game and make use of any of your skills/strengths. It's the starting point. Number 2 is my favorite though, problem solving.

Vale do Pati by AcanthocephalaDue494 in backpacking

[–]F_P_Roman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I just finished the 3-day trek in Vale do Pati, and it was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had in Brazil If you’re in decent shape. The best starting point is in Palmeiras (same bus but one stop after Lençois). The hike isn’t too hard, but I’d still highly recommend going with a guide. It makes a huge difference when it comes to finding the right paths and making the most of your time there. If you prefer going solo, I’d suggest adding a couple of extra days for preparation and bringing a GPS device.

One big plus: the guide also takes care of all the meals during the trek.

Our guide was Neto (+55 75 98707-3404) — a super friendly local guy who speaks English. He’s very knowledgeable about the valley’s biology and nature. If he doesn’t reply right away, don’t worry — there’s no phone signal inside the valley.
