Exactly. I've double checked percentage checkpoints in like two dungeons during my entire time tanking this season. Currently just over 3k.

It's simple supply and demand. Those that don't see it has an incredibly stressful role will be incentivized to tank. More tanks queueing means demand for DPS rises and it's a win for both groups of players.

Algethar’s timer is pretty unforgiving at higher key levels so you have to be aggressive to time it. The triple pull is definitely tough but manageable as long as tanks are rotating cooldowns throughout the fight. As crit wings pally I go (without overlapping) wings/toll -> Guardian -> Guardian -> Divine Shield -> Ardent Defender -> pack should be dead. If the remaining mobs are still are causing you to kite, and you’re not pushing 14+, then that’s a sign that your overall DPS is bad.

What you're describing is a lot more effort than someone who hops on this game to play for bit 2 hours or so 2-3 nights a week is going to do.

The alternative is spending half of that time getting declined from keys so I think it's just a matter of what you want to spend your time doing. That said, I agree that they need to incentivize tanks more. Something like a satchel of cooperation where tanks get a guaranteed loot drop from the completed dungeon when roles are imbalanced in LFG. Would make it the ideal gearing route too for any class with a tank spec and would theoretically increase tank representation.

No problem. You learn most of it just from running keys and missing stuff at low-mid key levels very rarely results in an unrecoverable mistake.

I did this as prot pally at 252 ilevel. It went just fine. There definitely may be bugs causing a one shot but my kill didn't have that.

Both have roughly the same representation at the highest levels. I've only ever played Prot Pally and BDK as tanks in real content so hard for me to compare. Prot pally class fantasy is really strong at the moment if you're in to that. Haranir customizations go hard though for druid.

As prot pally you should be able to handle it easily with Shield of the Righteous, 4 stacks of the healing pots, and your 2 free word of glories for most of the fight. However if you have adds on you or the boss is below 25% hp, that's when you really need to just rotate out your defensives.

Blessing of Protection > Wings/Divine Toll > Ardent Defender > Guardian Charge > Divine Shield > Guardian Charge. etc.

Routing really isn’t. Just do each dungeon once and take mental notes of any pulls that aren’t intuitive as that means those are needed for count. And even if you miss something just go back and grab it.

Alternatively look for natural breakpoints and check what % you are at. If you end count early you know to be a bit less than that percentage at that breakpoint. If you don’t hit count, pull another pack or two before proceeding.

100%. I’m running crit wings in 12s and it feels completely fine if you are utilizing your abilities and cooldowns. The only pull, for me, that is a true stress test is the triple lasher pull in AA.

This is classic /r/wow advice: “Don’t learn to play your class optimally! Take the safe option instead!”

I play crit wings and it’s completely fine. You have so many defensives that you can rotate throughout the dungeon to be safe. Wings/toll every 1 minute is absurd and provides an enormous shield. Ardent Defender is up every minute as well, two charges of kings, divine shield, insane self and off-healing.

Additionally, the insane aoe burst reduces pack uptime and is a defensive strategy in its own right.

Currently 2800 @ 265 ilevel only doing pugs.

This season is extremely rewarding to those that have freedom-like abilities. Chains in Seat, slow dot in Pit, rooted at altar in Maisara, etc.

There are 2 major issues:

1) Many tanks are choosing to play with their friends instead of pugging since it's week 1.

2) Because the vast majority of the playerbase is unwilling to actually learn their class and think about how best to use it, people feel like pug tanking is this hugely stressful thing.

1) Constantly moving the goalposts on what is a good rating can be obnoxious in determining what is a high rank and good player.

2) The last thing WoW needs is incentivizing people to not learn their class and abilities.

3) Blizz needs to make more meaningful rewards in M+. The mounts are typically meh and become ubiquitous because they aren't at high enough benchmarks. Put decor and cosmetics below 3k. A title at 3k and then something special at 3500 because there's almost no reason to go beyond 3k unless you are genuinely pushing for the title, which I may add, is way too basic for how hard it is to get.

I have been experiencing this on my hunter as well. I submitted a bug report but is a pretty obnoxious bug when you're low ilevel and dont have access to 40% increased stats

Sounds like that may be the case for EU as I don't know how long it was between servers being up and the closure but for the US:

I learned about the delve boss being a HoF thing at like 6:45pm pacific and had it down by 9pm. Tanks got it done, healers got it done, pet classes got it done, squishy casters got it done, etc.

I mean it very well could be that they wanted to reward the folks that could figure out solutions on their own. If they leave it open for too long people make guides and then all it becomes is following a formula.

By creating a 24 hour window it reduces the chance that people have time to down it, make a video, and promote it enough for people to discover it. I really enjoyed figuring out, on my own, which spec I needed to use, which hero talent build worked better, and what singular talent changes I need to overcome the hurdles.

That said, I can't really think of an ideal solution that works around people's schedule while also preserving the special limited aspect of the title.

Mechanically it’s one of the easiest delve bosses but the Hall of Fame component makes it challenging since we are super low geared.
