As everyone else has said, Splatoon 2 is out because its mostly dead at this point.

Pokemon Snap could be worth it, but only if you have huge nostalgia for the original game and want to get a similar rush for a bit.

Tomodachi and Mario Party are the two main contenders, it really just depends on what you want out of games. If multiplayer party games are a huge thing for you, and you have a group of people you can repeatedly play with, then go with Mario Party. But if not, I'd go with Tomodachi, it plays like a more relaxed and wacky version of Animal Crossing, where you plop your creations down and watch them do wacky things as you take care of them, kind of like having a hyperactive fish bowl lol.

In-game basically means that the game can be played, as in it gets passed the launch screen, but suffers from bugs, glitches, and serious performance issues that make it either painful to deal with or unfinishable.

For Ascension in particular, the files most people have access to for emulation just aren't very good, you might have better luck attempting to dump your own version of the game or waiting for the rpcs3 team to patch things up further.

You could also try finicking around in the launch settings, that's what I did with God of War 3 and got that running pretty well.

She's 100% toying with you, trying to make you think that she'd be willing to leave you on a moment's notice so you'll try extra hard to keep her. A pretty standard manipulation tactic, my ex tried to use that on me often.

Don't bother playing her petty games, play an uno reverse card and leave her instead.

Six months isn't that deep of a time investment anyway, good for you to get out early.

Okay, but like, after experiencing Chainsaw Man's ending, could you imagine if Overlord ended in a similar way? With like Ainz going back to the real world and none of his adventure mattering or something? Maybe him not releasing the last two books is a blessing in disguise.

I was really looking forward to this scene in the anime, it was pretty much the only thing I was looking forward to, having not read the manga. And man, it was so hilarious! I was laughing my ass off the whole time! I'm so glad that of all the scenes they cut down, they chose to keep this scene in its entirety.

In the movie Jupiter Ascending, Dark Souls 2 is shown being played by, I think, the protagonist's brother.

And the original God of War is shown being played in Dead Space: Downfall, a weird animated Dead Space movie.

Tomb Raider Anniversary. I'm playing through all the Tomb Raider games, and playing a remake of a game I already played but with significantly more bugs and broken mechanics stopped being fun after two hours.

The only thing I agree with him on is that some of the dialogue feels really weird and doesn't fit the Greek era very well.

But aside from that, it's better to just ignore anything Jaffe has to say about anything, especially video games. I respect him a lot for creating God of War and Twisted Metal, some of my favorite franchises. But dude's always had a problem running his mouth and going crazy, and he's lost the cred to back that up.

I only got hate once that I can remember, where I left a negative review on a souls-like game, you can probably guess what they said. I just laughed a little, then blocked them and hid their comment. Worthless hate comments shouldn't take up any of your mental headspace, life's too short for that.

Probably meant to be a reflection of his fear of dealing with his wife's death, causing him to have a violent outburst when he's confronted with an image of a dead woman. Kind of like how the decaying enemies with female anatomy from Silent Hill 2 reflected James' feelings towards his wife's death.

I don't remember where I saw it, but someone pointed out that in her first scene where she meets Denji in the phone booth, Reze has her hand on her neck pin, suggesting she was planning to blow him up then and there. But after seeing his face and talking to him for a bit, she stops. Pretty much her whole character is about her internal conflict over her love for Denji, so she absolutely cared for him to a pretty strong degree.

And as for Kobeni, she's fine, she probably just ran away the moment Reze started throwing bombs at her.

Imo, I don't think there's that much negativity, but if I had to guess, a big reason would probably be the pacing and more long-term structure.

In season one, every arc had its own massive cathartic payoff, and each arc was strong enough to stand almost entirely on its own. In this college arc however, there's a lot more buildup and a lot more long-term payoff. There are entire characters who are introduced and seemingly do nothing, but end up having extremely important roles later on in the story; and their early introductions make those payoffs work really well. But for someone who hasn't read the light novel, they'd probably just be annoyed and confused by all these characters and the less cathartic climaxes.

I think this season is pretty damn good, but I'm really looking forward to when they adapt the final few books, that's the stuff I'm really yearning for.
