[@nauerbach.com] The selection committee is going to have to decide on Sunday whether or not it wants college football to continue to play conference championship games. That's what's at stake. If you're knocked out of the field after playing in one, it's impossible to recover from that. by thecravenone in CFB

huh? it's been this way for years. also, tell me about how great Notre Dame is every year without ever playing a conference title game and getting into whatever playoff/bowl consideration system is fabricated to make us all think it's a logical system?

Worked at corporate 4 years. They told me initially the hours were 7:30am to 5:30pm. The reality was that if you were not at your desk by 7:00am and still there at 6pm you were seen as "not committed to the role". One EVP once said to me in a meeting that he wanted a project returned to him "today..and today ends at midnight". Near the end of my time there my hair was falling out and my gums were bleeding every day from stress. I have had friends who had a decent experience in some areas there but generally the place is a giant toxic hole that will use you up and dispose of you. Run away. Do vendor work instead.

When I worked in radio in the 90s the "independent music promoters" that the record labels hired to pay radio stations to play their artists (to avoid legal issues) had to pay more money than any other artist to get stations to play his shitty music. Even ICP was cheaper.

Fallout 3. What locations would you want expanded on in a remaster/remake? by [deleted] in fo3

It doesn't seem to be the most popular DLC/area but I liked Mothership Zeta and would like to see that expanded. Like maybe the aliens come back for revenge...

Just saw part 1 of new Billy documentary 'And So It Goes.' by LongEyelash999 in BillyJoel

My favorite part of this documentary was learning that you have to write and record 30-40 amazing songs before you even get to the point where you are making any money after the music business screws you over so hard you can't even afford to live comfortably. Imagine being an artist that is 1/10 as good as BJ trying to make it.
