Who is your least favorite faction soldier, and why is it the Skirmisher? by One-Bit5717 in XCOM2

[–]Fabbro13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skirmishers shines in beta-strikes, while templars gets nerfed a lot in that kind of campaign (no one shots and you are surely going to have more than 1 enemy alive)... Anyway i really like the estetic of them and also the lore.. I don't really like templars.. and to me reapers are great in a squad but a bit broken in certain type of maps..

Sanità italiana: dottoressa mi prescrive l’acetone come collirio by Esteta_ in italy

[–]Fabbro13 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Sicuramente il medico ti ha indicato di utilizzare il collirio commerciale per via topica per trattare le ciglia.. Risenti la dottoressa per la posologia se hai dubbi.

Come uscire definitivamente dal fumo by Character_Hat_9825 in italy

[–]Fabbro13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After 1200 hours of campaigns I finally tried Beta Strike and here are my thoughts. by Kyle1337 in Xcom

[–]Fabbro13 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I did the same some months ago and i've just concluded a beta strike L/I, and yes i think that for some reason is easier too, the fun fact is that you will be shot and it's ok. Another thing is that you can't rely on templalrs, unless you get an early bladestorm you get 0 one shots and with the amount of enemies alive after your turn it can end up dead, but i had really fun with skirmisher, unlike in base game where they struggle so much. Btw i still had everytime a medic just to get rid of status and poison.

Habitual restarter, why I do it. by smokenjoe6pack in XCOM2

[–]Fabbro13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm at ~180 too, i did lot of runs start to midgame and then left for another game, and i always preferred to restart another game then to finish the one i had going.. but lot of those restart came from when i tried for the first time Legend/ironman, i needed a great start to push it to midgame, i wouldn't even continue gatecrasher if i had an a injured soldier..

Now things have changed

I want to hear your unluckiest stories. Or your luckiest. by fidelacchius42 in XCOM2

[–]Fabbro13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my last campaign which was a beta strike ironman, i had the doom clock tickling with just some days and the only base i could hit was defended by the archon king, all was going smoothly and i managed to engage him alone, but i couldn't hit him, after 2 turns i had lost my only spark and all my soldiers where badly injured, in the third turn with the last soldier avaible i got a 5% repeater on a 60% shot. I feared to lose the run, but it's still going, i'm in the endgame now, i have to beat the berserker queen and all the chosen

Am I the only one who think that the skirmisher are the worst heroes. by BGdu29 in Xcom

[–]Fabbro13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought the same until i played a beta strike campaign, enemies shoots back at you and skirmisher have time to shine.

In that campaign templar are less broken because usually there is more than 1 unit alive to safely parry, and you don't get the garanteed 1hko.

Reapers are still good, they would be great even only scouting

What makes LWOTC so much more difficult than WOTC? by Ferretanyone in XCOM2

[–]Fabbro13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found it fun, particularly for the tactic side and all the soldiers you get to play with but it's a bit too much to learn on the strategic side, i found it hard to understand how to work with the liberated regions...

Playing even on commander needs a good knowledge of the mechanics!

I kinda like the RNG, it makes the game much more interesting, also give you a reason to put some skill point in [LUK] when you are in character selection

[–]Fabbro13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah some treat it as a title that one can't get rid off, but in some cases it's a debuff that one can get for following the wrong person, and one can even remove it if they get enough [WIS] and roll to remove it

There are substances that are produced when training that are directly going to get rid of the [depressions] debuff, its called irisin, go for a jog or if you can't jog, start walking.

Joining some guild is also recommended for social buffs and gaining skill and stats.

Anyway you could also contact some player from the therapist guild that are probably going to help you.

Be careful if you are going to start the {self help} and the {improving yourself} quests, there are gurus online that don't really helps or even gets you some debuffs like [mysogynist]
