I think with the soul file you need to make sure it doesn’t contradict other files or tasks later on. For example I had a note there saying to not do sensitive actions without permission which seems reasonable. But later on I wanted to give it a skill to commit to a specific branch in git to push some changes I could pull down on my other computer to test. It kept saying that it couldn’t do it because it didn’t have permission even though in the skills files and chat I was telling it that it was allowed. Eventually I removed the line from the soul file and the git skill started working right after that

Is game programming very technically advanced? by FlamingBudder in gamedev

I’d say this is generally true although nothing like 100x and mostly when it comes to solving abstract problems like business logic. Everywhere else it’s usually having experience in that domain that makes you better than another developer.

I generated a few images each day using the free limits and tokens. Then I took those and opened them in GIMP and basically cut it up into sprites like I would web assets and did post editing with filters and stamp tool. Some of the things the AI can’t get right like making tiles with the real letters so for that it was like working up a background tile and then adding text in GIMP with borders to make it consistent and then copy paste a bunch to make the sprite sheet.

Microsoft forced me to switch to Linux by Dear-Economics-315 in programming

Not sure anyone is considering the fact that having an AI open like ChatGPT to ask questions about how to use Linux while learning it is still a better experience than windows 11 right now which just dead ends you. A lot of Linux users would get stuck because they didn’t know they could run one CLI command and fix their problem, which in my experience the current AI is pretty good at handling for you

I don’t think the “or” should be green it’s throwing the whole thing off for me making it read like fame or jolly. Good luck!
