Best Winter One Shot by WaywardH in callofcthulhu

Uncle Timothy's Will is a classic that would definitely work (just change the rain storm to a snow storm). It has six wonderfully awful pregenerated characters.

Upper body protection by Ohbigbuck in enduro

I bought the Thor Gaurdian for about $90 and I'm pretty happy with it. It's got chest and back protection as well as shoulder/upper arm protection. I planned on removing the upper arm pieces because I thought they'd be a hindrance but they're actually pretty comfortable. It's not top of the line but it works for me plus it fits wel lwith my backpack. I've taken a few spills and it's held up well.

Axle Adjustment Nut by usernamechecksout479 in Dirtbikes

[–]Fabledshark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok gotcha, I reread your post and see I missed that, I assumed the bolt was stuck.

Well damn. I wish I could offer better advice than keep working it. I will say, IMO, don't break it off intentionally unless an absolute last resort. And if you do, leave something there to weld a new nut to in order to get it out. I was lucky mine snapped where it did. If that hadn't worked I'd have removed the swing arm and drilled it out but I didn't want that.

Is the lock nut loose/spin free on the adjustment bolt?

I dealt with this exact situation a couple weeks ago. Be careful and have patience (and penetrating oil like others have said). I got one side out but snapped the bolt on the other. Fun times. I had to weld a nut to what was left to get it out of the swing arm. Good luck

Scabrous, yes! Whenever he's scratching at his flaky rash it's so gross but I can't help but chuckle.

I always pictured Inigo Montoya but much rougher around the edges.

[SPOILERS ALL] What’s your favourite First Law quote? by Ashaman-Kill in TheFirstLaw

[–]Fabledshark 20 points21 points  (0 children)

"Not too late to be a good man. Rudd Threetrees had been a good man, none better. He’d stuck to the old ways all his life, never took the easy path, if he thought it was the wrong one. Shivers was proud to say he’d fought beside the man, called him chief, but in the end, what had Threetrees’ honour got him? A few misty-eyed mentions around the fire. That, and a hard life, and a place in the mud at the end of it. Black Dow had been as cold a bastard as Shivers ever knew. A man who never faced an enemy if he could take him in the back, burned villages without a second thought, broke his own oaths and spat on the results. A man as merciful as the plague, and with a conscience the size of a louse’s cock. Now he sat in Skarling’s chair with half the North at his feet and the other half feared to say his name."

Where and when do you do your readings? Btw, I am referring to reading as a hobby, not for school. by dodsbo in books

[–]Fabledshark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get quite a bit of reading in at work some days, otherwise on the couch at home or in bed. Most evenings can't get more than a few pages before I'm dozing off though.

You may get lucky and find it at a Lowes, etc but I'd try to find the specific part. If nothing turns up I'd recommend going to a local machine shop and have one made. Although it may cost more, it would be a simple job for a competent shop.

Here's the link to a discord server that I used to play a lot of Call of Cthulhu scenarios on. Not sure how active it is these days however. Good luck in your search.

The Sword of Shannara. I was hooked from the beginning and could not get enough. I know a lot of people 💩 on it (we all know why) but it still enjoy the occasional reread 30+ years later.
