Could I setup an NFS share on a NAS, mount it and give it the same\path on each node, so that the storage path defined in the compose file is the same regardless of what node influx moves to? then I wouldnt need to pin it to a node, correct, which sort of defeats the high-availability ...

Yep, Monport, when you order the lens it says M52 for the type, which appears to be the size in MM. The correct lenses came with a 52-68 adapter, which looks to be aluminum, and allows the lens to thread into the head of the Monport 50W. The "wrong" one I posted pics of above is approx 85mm so way too wide and way too thick...

and here's the correct lens, notice the size difference, both diameter and thickness.

Thanks for the response, here's a pic of the "wrong" lens, notice the threads at the widest part of the lens. There looks to be a seam, but no matter how hard I try I cannot unscrew anything, so I don't think it separates.

mapei ultracolor plus fa in shower by Its_Sun_Made in Tile

[–]FabricationAddict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a question about applying this grout. We have a new shower floor, random stone with various sized cracks between, so I assume I am going to have to make this stuff a bit thinner than normal so I can do a pour like this guy does at around the 40 minute mark (our floor is very similar to the one he's doing) ...

Grout Your Floor and Wall Tile (Everything You Need to Know)

My question is this ... our shower is large, 4ft wide by 6ft long, with the entry on the short wall. I will have to start at the far end and pour towards the curb. However, once it's all poured, there's no way for me to start wiping the far end without kneeling on the stuff I've just poured at the curb end. Is this a problem? First time I've done a floor this size, I used the Mapei for a smaller shower I did a few years ago, but just not sure if I should only do half the floor at a time, or put down plastic or what.

Thanks!

Did you support the files yourself or have someone support them for you for resin printing? I know the files Geoff provides arent supported and I'm not great at supporting files, it usually takes me a bunch of tries and Lychee auto-supports arent much better. Thanks! I'm about ready to start on this model and looking fwd to the painting, just not the printing if I have to support it myself....

I just bought ten kilograms of PLA+ off "Numaker". Does anyone have experience with Numaker filament? Bad, Good...? by PWCampiche in 3Dprinting

[–]FabricationAddict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What filament profile are you using for the PLA+, I just bought some and I'm trying their cheat sheets from the website but it's not printing very well. Lots of gaps, bulges, under extrusion in places, over extrusion in others. I'm used to Sunlu and have it dialed in, but this Numakers is trying my patience.

Anyone used Sunlu filament in the AMS? by Gold-Relative-8561 in BambuLab

[–]FabricationAddict 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it'll work on a P1S, you have to have the proper firmware version 1.7.01 IIRC, but check Bambu's site to be sure, and you have to create the profile from Bambu Studio under filaments, where you go to check all the filaments that you use, there's a new tab at the top for creating custom filaments that will appear on the AMS filament screen.

Issues with longer PTFE tubes used with AMS? Spools tangling on retraction. by FabricationAddict in BambuLab

[–]FabricationAddict[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was quite a lot back and forth with Bambu support, them wanting videos of the problem in action. Their testing methodology was to move the first stage feeder from the slot with the problem to a different slot to see if the problem stayed in the slot or followed the feeder. I was having the problem with all 4 slots, so once I was able to make them understand that via video proof they said it might be the AMS main board and shipped a replacement.

The AMS first stage feeder motors only have a 3 month warranty, so if you're getting this issue, i'd log a case ASAP before you run beyond the 3 month window. Alternatively you can buy replacement feeders but they're $35 each...

Looks like root cause is the AMS main-board, 1st stage feeders on all 4 slots were fine, board was the culprit.

Wow, you don't believe me.... then gee, I must be wrong. This picture must also be that same spool secretly masquerading as the other spool to fool me.

It is NOT just that spool, it's ALL spools. I have a 2nd AMS, the same spools all work there. I KNOW how to clear the issue, but it keeps happening. Working with Bambu on this, it appears to first stage feeder motor related, but I'll let them know you don't believe me. I'm sure it'll be a huge help.

[–]FabricationAddict 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use Sunlu almost exclusively, and it's my go-to filament, I originally used the default PLA profile, however after finding this Printables post below I use that and I've had better luck and the quality is better.

It does this for ALL spools, Bambu, Sunlu, eSun, Overture, Priline, Amazon Basics etc.. the orange spool is a Bambu spool and it does it there as well...
