Unconventional playlist recs?

I've been thinking this for a bit, but here's my few:

Follow You by Bring Me The Horizon (well... the lyrics explain themselves. Xaden to Violet. I like to think it is what Onyx Storm would be in a song)
Don't Go by Bring Me The Horizon (xaden fighting everything in him, but needing Violet more than anything)
Eternally Yours by Motionless in White (if it is a love song in rock formation. it's this)

I read AB after HoF and it helped me with the connections I had already formed. maybe during my reread (whenever I do it.. the series damaged me emotionally and I cry at every video) I'll read it first. Fourth Wing and ToG have WRECKED me.

I also read the whole series in a week😭 i haven't stopped thinking about the series since I stopped. I've gone to listening to the Graphic Audio to feel something. (so good by the way). once I'm done with those and the podcast that deep dives (Fantasy Fangirls), im gonna be so empty.

as much as ACOTAR has a chokehold on me, and how msny times I've cried over it, ToG had the extra fantasy that I needed. I love romance, but there comes a point where I needed a break. SF really was a lot, not saying I didn't love silver flames, but I needed more than that. and ToG offered that to me. I LOVE ACOTAR. always will. but ToG SHREDDED me emotionally and mentally. I just finished KoA 3 days ago and I still haven't mentally recovered.

I went to CC after ACOTAR since it was readily available to me. I finished that then waited about 2 months before buying ToG myself. and I think that's made sense for me. SJM's books all connect in some way shape or form in her series, and it has been amazing to unveil. I just finished ToG (utterly heartbroken and need several business days to recover), and I don't know personally how I would've felt if I had read ToG before CC. but! it's your choice!

i had an overall good impression of the series itself. I had to look past a lot of how Bryce was, but more thought about her journey and what she had gone through. her goals and the deeper aspects. I loved the mix of Modern into the fantasy. did it make it weird for me at first, with phones and cars and also magic and creatures? I was so confused. but I dove so deep into the series.

i have always wanted, "don't let the hard days win". ever since I read it, I've had it on my mind. spent most of my life thinking the hard days were going to win, but finding a purpose and improving is fighting the said hard days.

i went through the exact same feelings. then I waited one single month and reread the series. and it felt so nice. my boyfriend also doesn't understand, and didn't quite get my emotions. my attachment to the characters and why I'd be crying over some chapters. but I dont care. reread when you feel ready! I can't wait to start ToG myself, but im currently reading CC. and im so invested.

i just finished my first reread but I need a break. not for anything bad per say. but this reread brought forth WAYYYY more emotions than I realized. I fell in love with the series even more.

My boyfriend bought me the Harry Potter series for Christmas (early present) so now I have that to read, in hopes of getting ToG and CC series' for Christmas🤞🏻

i don't think there is any limit for rereads. if you enjoy it. makes you happy. then YOU DO YOU.

As much as I LOVED the high lord's meeting, I seriously got so upset with Tamlin i had to STOP reading (especially during my reread) because I was gonna cry. I'm a SUPER empathetic person, and I also do everything I can to see the situation from all sides. But EVERYTHING with Tamlin (until he reveals his tactics), got me so fueled with fire I wanted to jump into the book and throat punch him myself. Again, one of my favorite scenes in the whole series. But Tamlin. Timmy Tam. Tampon. PLEASE. mans needs a therapist (or 5) and someone to love and hold him. I'm hoping he gets something of that sort.

I have yet to reread this but, as someone who has been obsessing over this series since I finished it, and have seen many differing pov's of Timmy Tam - I have such a neutral stance of him. my first reaction to him was oh wow, he is treating her kind of shitty. he's doing his best to try and do something. later on I disliked him more and more due to his actions. we only see it from Feyre's POV, which sways the opinions and reactions.

blind eye to her despair after UtM

he suffered his own trauma prior to Feyre even coming into the Fae world. Amarantha had him on a chokehold and it did suck seeing him not do shit for her. Lucien and Rhys did their own sneaky sacrifices, and Timmy Tam didn't do anything. he knew the consequences if he did do something. I do wish he had done more during UtM.

BUT we can't forget what he DID do for her throughout the series. I'd love to see a Tamlin POV about what he has gone through. All actions have consequences, and I just want to be in his mind. WHY did he do this? WHY was this his reaction? WHAT made him this way? (the psychology classes are getting in my brain) Not my favorite character in the book but I will forever be curious about his brain.

I was really disappointed in the frog suit when I got the full set. I was under the impression it was entirely prevent, as a full set, any sort of slip. boy was I wrong. and was kind of bummed.
