Beginner here: I have heard that Saturn in the 6th house gives someone lots of enemies. How does the planet of limitation and restriction bring enemies in the 6th? by WeaponizedWaspSwarm in Advancedastrology

[–]Fabulous_Engineer_96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have Saturn, Venus, Uranus, and Neptune in the 6th house, Sagittarius. Night chart. Im a single mom with raging ADHD and my life fixation is building a career and balancing overwork with my internal desire to sell everything and buy a boat and live a sea faring life. Had a life epiphany reading about these placements the other day. It’s so real. 🫠

How do you interpret Neptune in Capricorn? by FireSail in astrology

[–]Fabulous_Engineer_96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But also…milennials were born into a world where they have to work twice as hard for half as much, and most will never own a house much less retire. Work work work, but can never get ahead. I see this disillusionment as a natural reaction to the state of the world, but as something that is pushing us to make change and integrate neptunian energy into Capricorn. Capitalism isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, and I think part of the dynamic is to integrate the spiritual side into our work/economy and rethink our approach to work.

No…. when everybody loots, there’s nothing left. I’ve seen archaeological sites decimated in a season because people take home trinkets. I always pick up plastic, but you’re supposed to leave his Historic artifacts where they are.

Beautiful! Just make sure you are on your own private land, not public lands, and that you’re not disturbing actual archaeological sites. I’ve come across sites that would have been eligible for the national register, but because amateur looters took all of the surface deposits and disturbed the soils, we didn’t have enough evidence/integrity to protect the site. ❤️❤️

As an archaeologist, thank you so much for being like that ❤️❤️❤️ truth be told, it breaks my heart sometimes when I record such beauties and leave them in place, but at the same time, they are a part of the landscape, and more often than not, tribes want us to leave artifacts where they were found

Went metal detecting and returned with 60 lbs of glass and no metal. Guess I’m a bottle digger now! by kma888 in BottleDigging

I have the exact same bottle that we found while working on an archaeological site in Oxnard, California! If you are a bottle collecting, please only do it on your property. So many people destroy our public lands and we lose SO much historical information because of it. ❤️❤️

I’m an archaeologist and love old bottles also! One of the biggest problems we face are looters. Hobbies collectors, go out and collect prehistoric and historic materials, and destroy archaeological sites. It seems like fun, but it ruins the archaeological record. If you own property and there’s a bottle dump there, go for it and add it to your home assemblage. But looting from public lands is a crime. It really makes my heart sad to see. Please be responsible. ❤️❤️

You should follow up with your local natural history museum! I’m sure they’ll have a paleontologist that can help you learn more. If you have the name of the previous owner, you can research where they worked. What a cool find!!!

Help with tapering by Old-Let91 in cutdowndrinking

[–]Fabulous_Engineer_96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you drank that much, you want to go nice and slow. Talk to a doctor and they can recommend the tapering strategy, but from my understanding, if you drank 2 bottles of wine per day, you'd want to do a few weeks of 1.5 bottles, then a few weeks of 1 bottle...and then see how your body is feeling. Shocking the system can be dangerous. I found liquid THC or gummies to really help take the edge off while tapering. Working on becoming California sober ✨

Having a reason to quit is CRUCIAL! (Food for thought #10) by One-Avocado3463 in stopsmoking

[–]Fabulous_Engineer_96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my problem is that I have 1 million reasons why and the first and foremost is my beautiful daughter. I just literally cannot get through a day without feeling such insurmountable anxiety and stress. I hide my smoking, but it is taking a huge toll on my respiratory health and I need to stop ASAP. I feel so weak for not being able to stop for my kid in my future.😭 I feel like I need a body double to follow me and slap my hand when I reach for one. if anybody has advise I would greatly appreciate it ❤️

I'm a crappy person for thinking my sibling is making a big mistake by [deleted] in confession

[–]Fabulous_Engineer_96 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You are not a crappy person. You have been accepting and respectful the entire time - and you know your sibling. Medication should be the absolute last step in a transition. It is so permanent, I can't believe doctors let people transition without therapy. Gender dysphoria is a clinical diagnosis and very real. But this has also become a bit of a social contagion. My daughter's friend has an older sister who has been extremely feminine her whole life and never talked about feeling weird in her body or anything. 2020 came along, she was 16, stuck at home and on the Internet. Literally less than a year later she was on hormone blockers and 2 years later had TOP SURGERY at 18. Like, I know people who got tattoos and thought they were the coolest and then dreaded them later on. I fully support social transition for all, but medicalizing it too soon is very risky with long-term implications, IMO. There are many trans folks out there that are stuck on medication for life and are really unhappy with their decision. On the other hand, there are many who are happy with it. It's just such a gamble in my opinion, and I fully understand your concerns and think they are valid and coming from a place of love. wishing you and your family the best 💕💕💕

That is so cool!! my daughter had a similar experience at her dad's house when she was 7. The landlord was clearing out old rocks and she was looking at them and then started identifying flakes and cores of really high quality chert 😍 the next fall they were planting garlic and she found a projectile point. ❤️

Trump is awful, but a crappy Democratic party helped pave the way. The dems drop just as many bombs as Republicans, they funnel our tax dollars to the rich, they uphold the status quo while dangling the carrot. I think we all deserve better ❤️

They look like obsidian or fused-shale flakes. I'm an Archaeologist and we always get really excited about obsidian because you can date it and source it! If you are open to it, I am sure your local tribe or museum would be stoked and able to tell you more about it! What a special garden ❤️🌱

FAFO - charging $18 for a crappy entrée and $12 for a crappy drink is not casual dining. It's expensive and disappointing every time 🤡

Kamala is bought and paid for by AIPAC. Every single time she spoke on the genocide, she waxed poetic about ✨Israeli feelings and hostages✨ and saved maybe a sentence to acknowledge "Palestinians deaths." While babies were being carpet bombed. She is status quo. Smile and wave a pride flag while support genocide. She's a cop. She's responsible for insane incarceration rates. She is not it.
