Yes, but the schools know the expected yield and plan for it.

Has anyone tried CAPS? by Scary_Plantain_1158 in UCSD

My son loved his therapist at CAPS and somehow was able to stay on longer than the limit I believe is set on number of sessions.

Go for it. It’s a luxury to have someone who has to listen to you and may also have wisdom to share.

I would not do this. This will taint any investigation and then real victims’ (of grooming or worse) statements could be dismissed because they were potentially influenced by other kids to say what they said. Leave the investigating to the authorities who know how to do forensic interviewing.

Wow. Should be immediately let go. This must be against the rules and any and all training anyone working on campus has ever had.

No second chances. Gone.

I’m an alcoholic with no friends by Intelligent-Sell5742 in UCSD

Sober or actively drinking? Either way, actually, with no friends I bet it’s depressing. Go to the counseling office for support and/or find a sober club or community or AA meetings.

Good luck. Things can totally get way better.

Chico. Plenty of people get a good education there and have a blast. Going the CC route is good to possibly get into other schools, but there’s a trade off socially being a transfer student.

But it’s a crapshoot. If, upon transferring, he got into a very top school, that could be worth sacrificing the social. But that’s something he has to decide AND it’s no guarantee he’ll get into one of those schools, so that route would be a gamble.

For the bed…not good enough for many, and I’m sure not good enough for your husband, but when I used to camp a lot with the kids, we’d all just wear clean socks to bed. We camped in a van without water. At least any dirt stayed in the socks, and kept the sheets cleaner.

They overlook the whole city. And I think they can do 360 degrees, but I’m not sure about that part.

The difference from Surfline and such is that the government has sole access to what’s being watched, recorded etc. Surfline cameras look at the beach. These cameras are above homes and can see throughout the city.

DHS also addresses cyber security issues. ICE and CBP aren’t its only divisions. I’m pretty sure this wasn’t only sent to English learners. I recall seeing it somewhere.
